Do you ever think about the fervour and desperation with which Cassandra was searching for Hawke, and the Warden, and then propping up the Inquisitor as Herald?
Do you ever think about Cassandra searching for someone else to lead, someone else to carry that responsibility, someone else to become her saviour?
Do you ever think about the Inquisitor asking her why? Why did you do this to me? Why did you make me into this? What did I do that I deserve you doing this to me? And how dare you judge me? You who refused this weight and shoved it on my shoulders? You who were willing to sacrifice my humanity, but not yours? Did you think your faith was a gift? Did you think it was my duty? Did you think carrying you would be easy? That you were weightless?
Thinking about the Inquisitor and the anchor again.
The anchor afforded the Inquisitor crazy powers such as Anchor Discharge which allowed Inky to "slip themselves and others briefly between the Fade and the normal world".
This means Inky could, for a short period of time, phase in and out of the Fade similar to Cole and even Fenris.
There is something so insane about the Inquisitor and their body undergoing repeated cycles of Fade energy accumulation and discharge. Inky has lived, physically and consciously, in conditions that bypass the normal separation between the Fade and the world - and STILL their body adapted enough to survive it.
To apply the word resilient onto the Inquisitor is an understatement.
It's why I believe they are a different kind of being after the events of Trespasser. How does a body not get altered with that much power, energy and Fade interaction?
