Activities and hobbies that are free or nearly free and are accessible to most
* taking walks around the city, natural areas, residential areas, wherever you are really. See what you see, take the time to enjoy being outside

* if you have a pen and paper, drawing. You don't have to be good at it.
* reading! There are libraries that are free. And if you don't have that there are also things like Wikipedia, Ao3, internet Archive, you can find so much free reading material on the internet

* identifying plants or insects using inatrualist
* if you have paper you can try origami
* learning how to cook, we all need to eat anyway, try experimenting with what you have. Try new recipes. There are lots of things you can make with very few ingredients. Use what you have. Nothing has to be fancy
* if you have snow, build a snow man, have a snowball fight, make snow angels, sword fight with icicles
* go to a museum if you have free ones in your area. Or free zoos. Or free aquariums. This is heavily dependant on where you live
* windows shopping. Go to a mall or thrift store and just looks stuff, maybe try on a shirt. You can do this with online shopping too. Pretend shop. Make fun of absurd products that shouldn't exist but do. You can do with with houses too. Go be judgy about mansions

* write a story. You don't have to be good at it to make something up. Play pretend, make fan fiction. Analyze media if you want. rewrite stories

* build a fairy house outside with sticks and bark and leaves
* go to a park if you have one, walk around, swing on the swings if there are no kids around. See if you can still do the monkey bars

I've gotten used to periodically playing Conway's Game of Life. The term 'playing' isn't quite right; it's more about observing. This might seem like a pointless and unfulfilling activity to some, but find its charm in brief observation.
From the simplest rules arises an incredible complexity of patterns. But what impresses me most is the thought that a smaller number of cells is often doomed to 'get stuck' or ‘die’. The more living cells I create, the greater the chances for survival and the more stunning the complexity of this ‘life’.
I think of this as a neural network or a usual development in everyday life. The more attempts | allow myself, even if many of them are doomed to fail, the greater the chances for growth.
Every time I give myself more space for growth and time for it: my inner struggles retreat, and my restless mind, which is constantly searching for something, begins to relax, let things go, allow them to be as they are, and simply live.
Who up wearing a swimsuit and not touching the water once today
In the neon glow, we jump. 💫 Let the beat chase your doubts away.🤩
