Daily Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Meetings

7 days a week, 9pm-9am

              ○  Staff, coordinators, and counselors are available at all times               ○  Meeting starts at night, runs 12 hours                          ○   Biggest groups at 6, 7, 8AM and 9, 10PM               ○ New Beginnings Group: 5:30PM               ○ New Genesis group: M W Th               ○ Times of Illness: Tuesdays 7PM – for those on legitimate prescription medications and would like to participate in NA but not within a typical NA group environment               ○  Recovering NA: Friday 7AM               ○  Additional meetings and workshops: Saturday and Sunday        1:30-3:30PM               ○ Women’s group: Sunday 4PM               ○ No 7PM group on Saturdays and Sundays

Counseling and Case Management:

Available to: men, women, or transgender individuals.

Certified Addictions Counselor and Case Manager are available during the hours of Monday through Friday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)- to refer individuals to treatment and other support services for their housing, legal, health and mental health services, job training and other needs

No walk-ins Monday (but might be told to come back a certain time another day), other days can just walk-in and usually see someone.

Poz People is a free, weekly, peer-led support group for HIV-positive individuals in the LGBT community. The group focuses on all aspects of living with HIV/AIDS in a safe and confidential setting.

Black Transmen, Inc. presents Akanni, a support group for all transgender men that are conforming and non-conforming at any stage in their transition process. Akanni is a safe, respectful, and confidential environment where transmen can share their story and their journey. Akanni is from the Yoruba language meaning profitable encounter.

Rainbow Youth Alliance - Baltimore (ages 13-19)

The Rainbow Youth Alliance is a support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning teens and their allies. RYA is a safe place to ask questions, find mutual support, and learn information pertinent to their lives. Sponsored by PFLAG Baltimore & the GLCCB, RYA - Baltimore meetings include discussion groups, movies, projects, art, and guest speakers in a safe and supervised environment. Teens between 13 and 19 years of age are welcome, regardless of their gender or orientation. You only need to bring an open heart and mind.

Mixed Company (ages 20-30)

A weekly discussion, support, and social group for all young adult LGBT identified or questioning individuals and their allies. The mission of the group is to grow a peer-to-peer support network as well as provide a safe and inclusive environment where members can learn about and openly discuss LGBT issues. In addition, the group will offer the opportunity for local social meet-ups, events and volunteer opportunities outside of meeting days.

Available to: Women completing 28-day detoxification or 30 Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings in a span of 30 days (must apply while doing that)

Requirements: Pay rent ($10 nightly), complete house chores, and obtain a sponsor

Counseling and Case Management:

Individual and group counseling with the Martha's Place Addictions Counselor; attend daily NA meetings; obtain employment

Education and Training:

Participate in money management training

Long-term SRO (Single Room Occupancy) housing

Available to: Women that complete any six-month transitional program are eligible to apply

Homes offer individual bedrooms and shared living rooms, dining rooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and outdoor gardens. These are unstaffed recovery homes Supportive services such as addictions counseling, money management, remain available to residents on request
