Adult Permanent Housing Program
Available to: Homeless, very low income individuals who are HIV+ or have another disability, and their family members
Provides rental assistance and scattered site housing throughout Baltimore City and County.
Individuals and families pay 30% of their income toward rent with the balance being paid through their housing subsidy.
Interested applicants need to apply through their case manager. Required paperwork includes copies of birth certificate, social security card, proof of household income, and proof of qualifying disability. Applicants must be willing to accept case management services and be considered capable of living independently.

Supportive case management focuses on greater access to health care, substance abuse recovery, employability and income, with the goal of strengthening self-sufficiency

One may apply through their case manager, if they are in the first 3 months of transitional housing post release, and meet all other criteria.

Available to: Low income, HIV+ individuals referred through Maryland's Project HOME. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, single, and referred through Project Home, Baltimore City Adult Services, 300 Metro Plaza, Baltimore, Md. 21215, 410-361-5000, (general number); 443-423-6629, (Intake).
Adult foster care facilities, licensed to provide room, board, assistance, and supervision needed by adults with disabilities who are capable of living in the community, but are unable to live alone.
AIRS staff provide a protective living environment in a homelike setting for ten individuals living with end-stage AIDS. Don Miller Homes are a popular living environment based on the fact they are home-like, yet are fully handicapped accessible.
Each house has 24- hour staffing, a state requirement that allows us to be sensitive and responsive to the frequently changing needs of each resident.
Available to: Low income, HIV+ individuals and family members with Limited English Proficiency;
Rental assistance and scattered site housing throughout Baltimore City and County to HIV+ immigrant clients with Limited English Proficiency, of mainly Hispanic/ Latino origin.

The facility includes a fully computer-networked building with enhanced support and community services, with strong ties to employment and educational opportunities employment and education opportunities.
