Learning art and staying aware

I haven't been feeling art-y this week but ive been at least doing gesture/pose drawings. Also Jimothy made it in because of course they did

Someday I may come back to do a better version of this.

Went back to do some colored pencil work for this just messing around and trying some different shading ideas

Heres the concept sketch for what I was talking about yesterday. Im still thinking I might re-size so I can get #haunter in there

Before I get too into it, I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I started with a sketch, and then blocked out the lighting from bright to dim in procreate. This is my first layer of color and shading and im not sure how to blend smoothly from light to dark
