just realized it's kind of odd how YouTube frames posting videos as something you're only allowed to do once??

like with drawings I can just decide it's been enough time that I could share old work again by reblogging or re-posting it, but with YouTube it's implied and/or expected that you just gotta hope it picks up again after you maybe change the thumbnail

can't imagine people posting the same video more than once would be appreciated either (although we have been getting more binge compilations or existing shorter work) but it leads to a lot of reuploads being done by different folks on other platforms

theres basically no options for further distribution with YouTube in a way that feels different from so many other mediums

Adding on more is there an aesthetic expectation for a channel to look neat and orderly?

Like there's a noticable difference in the vibe you get from a channel with additional shorts/posts/livestream channels vs one with just a few videos.

Thing is I don't believe that makes a major difference in the way someones channel performs or not 🤔
