first off her fascination with fuckin freaks. i loooove clea's weird ass scary ass creations and her whole thing as the mother of monsters is so cool and i wish it was utilised more. also big fan of her personality because she Is rude and abrupt and yet it's just presented as one of the many ways the family copes instead of just jumping to villainising her because angry woman, god forbid

she has SO LITTLE SCREENTIME. i understand why narratively and i think she works very well in the time she has but GOD do i wish we got more of her. fingers crossed if a future entry has to do anything with the dessendres again that clea gets to shine a bit

very strong tie between "The only thing you owe them is to live a life you enjoy." and "I do it for him. To respect what he created, what we created." yes i know the second one is from the lady of sap but we all know that's just a representation of clea cmon

i think of clea and (the real) verso as a duo so much it hurts. i know it's a "no duh, they're siblings" thing but the idea that verso's canvas was partially made by her and for her and he could always figure out how to convince her to join him in it and the canvas itself missing her when she stopped visiting is. i have a lot of feelings on that duo

although i do enjoy a bit of clea/emma here and there realistically on regard of her approach towards the canvas she would not fuckin be with anyone we know of in canon. but on playing toys im starting to warm up to clea/lune as well

i like the idea that she has a habit of fidgeting with her clothes when trying to focus. the edge of her sleeves the folds of her skirts. i imagine that would also be how her skirt just ended up so covered in paint: she'd just do it while trying to get through the painting process. all this to say im headcanoning her as being autistic/j

clea was 100% justified in everything she did. painted clea and simon included. id also lose my shit in her place. i think people tend to overplay how rude she is and forget that when we see her it's at her worst

being a drama queen honestly. i know it's mostly rare because at the point we find him in the game he yk. motions at everything. but when he gets to be a little dramatic it's very fun. i know this is more an animation style than a personally him thing but i like how expressive he is and how he keeps tilting his head when he talks and bouncing around when waiting to continue combat. adhd ass/j

i guess the romance routes he gets? less hating them more eh they were there too ig. felt the game was just fine without them but also id argue they were barely romance routes and in fact interesting in their own way and that's for another post moving on

verso is not a good liar. he's a constant liar, but he's not good at it. he fumbles, he gives himself away the second he's questioned further, and a considerable amount of his lies only work because he gets monoco and esquie to vouch for him. the reason he's convincing is because for most of act 2 the expedition still lacks context for absolutely anything and they kind of have to take his word for it
