So I see this message on one of my posts saying "oh I tried to reach you numerous times but can't for some reason, can you please message me" which should be the first big red flag already because I have both asks and messaging on but I looked into it because you can never know with how borked tumblr can sometimes be. Then this exchange happened:

So I looked into it further and apparently this is a scam on tumblr dating back a few months ago that happens where they attempt to get you on that fake af "support" on discord (another red flag) and give your email and such on there so they can steal your site (and possibly even worse). Tumblr support should always be via their own site.

So yeah... If someone attempts to do this to you, REPORT THEM AS SPAM AND BLOCK THEM (both the blog AND the message if it gets that far). Would also appreciate it if that user who attempted to scam me gets mass reported too (sunnymirasworld).
