It's going to take me a while to post finished new artworks bc of Life Events™, so I thought I'd start sharing some of my current wips for fun.

Behold: this Clair Obscur poster I'm painting for myself that's gonna take me 5 years to finish bc I was very determined to fit everyone into the composition (including three maellicias of course)

Hi! Happy to hear you enjoyed those silly bugs :D You can totally get them printed as stickers for personal use, I’ve already given the files away to a couple people for this exact purpose haha. If you’d like you can DM me and I can get you a link to a google drive folder where I have the bug files split into separate transparent background pngs, so you can arrange them for printing at whatever format you like.

people who don't use or spend time on tumblr don't really understand how solid this place is for creatives and how we could be living in artist utopia if they fully undid the nsfw ban. the tag system? the dashboard? the silly anons who will send you the most insane sentences known to mankind? having your very old, shitty art make the rounds again because somebody finds value from it and wants to show their friends? no other place even comes close

I hope every single person who puts nice comments in tags under reblogged art knows that you you guys are the backbone of society. Being an artist online sucks these days, but here on tumblr I still get compliments under artworks that I made years ago. I hope you know every WOW and heart emoji and heartfelt compliment and funny comment you left in the tags is part of the reason I kept drawing all these years, in spite of everything that was going on.

I've been screenshotting the nice tags I get for years, and at this point it would be literal thousands of lines if I still had my old files. I love u tumblr users <333333333

This godawful recent update made me think about this post again. I still screenshot and collect all the kind comments and tags I get under my art posts on here. Some of these I got recently under art that is YEARS old. This literally doesn't happen on any other social media. The way tumblr note system works (worked) is THE reason me and my friends are on here instead on twitter or whatever else tumblr seems to desperately want to become.

Why would you fuck up THE thing that differentiates you from others? That makes your platform fun to use?
