a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
"why is the character like that" >look inside character >it's the author's subconscious attempt to love themself
this is meant positively by the way. sometimes you love the character so much you end up putting a piece of yourself in it to learn how it is to love yourself without realising and thats ok.
Someone should make a disco elysium spiritual successor that takes place in a maze and follows a protagonist who has to eat all the dots in the maze whilst avoiding several ghosts
you can actually homebrew this in d&d 5e
happy pride month for it/its users, polyamorous people, xenogenders, non-transitioning trans people, and other "weird" identities. btw

[ID: an edited screenshot from tiktok. the background is a light red, and the top of a person's head is barely visible. white text is shown and it reads, "I don't think people understand that it actually physically pains me that he's a fictional character and I can never actually beat his ass or know what it's like to kill him." end ID]
Kinda sick and tired of people treating racism like it’s no big deal, and specifically especially sick and tired of people blindly crying “transmisogynistic harassment” whenever someone criticizes their favorite white trans woman for her racism.
More people are talking about TADC’s leaks in sympathy for Gooseworx than they are about her being silent on how she participated in racist jokes other than implying it was not “genuine” racism. Nobody seems to bring up Patricia “I am also limited in my ability to racially oppress due to being trans and disabled” Taxxon’s consistent racism, despite her becoming relevant again due to the latest incident with Hbomberguy. A lot of popular transfem bloggers on Tumblr have a history of racism too, but God forbid you bring it up.
I feel fucking crazy. What happened to “you are white before you are anything else”? So many popular trans women on here are specifically white trans women who you’re not allowed to point out have said racist shit that they still stand by, or you’re the bad person. You’re overreacting. You’re harassing a poor innocent white woman over nothing that actually matters, and you need to touch grass and learn what a real problem is. These women are allowed to wield their white woman tears by crying about how oppressed they are and how hard their lives are and how everybody is out to get them when criticized for racism, and people just BUY IT?? Not just buy it, but ENFORCE IT, harass others who DON’T buy it, accuse the ones who don’t buy it of, and I quote, LYNCHING her.
White trans women are not less likely to be racist than any other type of white person, but they’re treated like they are, and the notion they could be racist is treated as inherently ridiculous, defamatory, and transmisogynistic.
I think that some people need to come to grips with the fact that some of these women are blatantly, openly racist, and hide behind their disabilities/mental illnesses and their transness. We cannot be positioning white trans women as an authority on all systems of oppression, because white trans women are not the modern martyr for the oppressed voice. Black trans women have felt everything they have, 100 times worse. White trans women’s suffering is real, but suffering as a white woman is just so much different. And if we want the trans community to be safe for POC, we need to start actually calling racism from trans people out, instead of being the girl who cried transmisogynistic harassment campaign.
But this is the website that says a term coined by a Black trans woman to call out racism from white members of the transfem community is inherently transmisogynistic (even a transmisogynistic slur) and should never be used. So maybe I’m just talking to a (very racist) brick wall here.

this pride month we’re all going to be radically pro transgender. or else.
hey so this means radically pro ALL transgender. don’t put limitations on this. all trans people are radically accepted here.

Transcript:
It is going to happen this year. You know what I mean. God’s will. Naturally of course. No need to come knocking on my door. I’m chilling at home and I’ll be chilling at home when it happens. Before I go running out into the streets that is. Shaking the mailman’s hand. Kissing nurses and shit. All of a sudden there’s a drumline and a mariachi band and breakdancers and fuckin… David Guetta is DJing on a rooftop if David Guetta is still alive. Maybe we’ll even get to watch it live on TV. The first flicker that something is really wrong. Slowing it down and rewinding it after like when Lisa broke Ralph’s heart. The realization in his eyes. The first single moment of self awareness in 80 years. Like a flailing panicked deer you’ve crashed your car into on the side of a snowy mountain pass. The eyes fluttering back and forth. Surely this can’t have been it. Perhaps a brief bargaining with God. God saying he’s going to pass on the deal. I do not agree with your terms sir. It’s gonna be like the Will Smith Summertime video out there. Everywhere. We’re all going to get fired from our jobs for posting. 100% unemployment. One good day.
End transcript.

[“The first time Leslie went in with those diseases, the doctors refused to treat. Once Leslie’ clothes came off, the doctors just left. It took Leslie a while to find a doctor that would actually treat a trans person. And by the time the disease was finally treated by some great doctors, it was really too late. Leslie’s immune system had been hit hard. Leslie was making these great speeches in front of thousands of people and having to be taken to bed immediately after the speech. Leslie was in really tough shape.
Last year and this year, Leslie was really ill. The doctor confined Leslie to a hospital bed with an IV. Then the struggle of CeCe McDonald broke out. Leslie immediately started corresponding with CeCe, and with the gay, lesbian, and trans movements, saying “This is our struggle. We cannot allow CeCe to go to prison. This is an attack on all of us.”
With the IV in her arm, Leslie got out of bed, and went to the court while it was in session, stood up, and made a speech. And then Leslie painted on a public wall, “Free CeCe McDonald,” and was put on trial for it. We know how ill Leslie was, because Leslie died from it, but that’s what happened — Leslie took the IVs out, went to the trial and made a public statement, was arrested, put in jail, and put on trial. It was not an individual act, to say, “I’m a nice person.” It was part of a movement, to make sure everybody was watching.
Leslie made sure that the movement knew what CeCe McDonald meant. It was a culmination of the struggle for trans equality, survival, and for the trans movement as a whole. As a black person, CeCe McDonald also represented an oppressed nation that is under attack. Everybody had to rally around the struggle.”]
Reflections on the life of Leslie Feinberg, the late radical activist and author of Stone Butch Blues.
