This makes me wonder if pre-gas form Makuta had vaguely sluglike features. Like we can assume they were armoured and mostly humanoid, but maybe they had slimy skin or ”hair” that looked like the protrusions on those nudibranchs. And if each Makuta makes slightly different looking Kraata that has some resemblence to their old form.
