9/11 jokes are an interesting phenomenon. It's in part just edgy humor, and I acknowledge that, but there's wider commentary on how the memory of the 9/11 terrorist attacks have been mythologized and weaponized in ways ultimately more disrespectful than any joke. I think it's healthy- unfortunately outside of terminally online spaces I don't think it's very socially acceptable.

Humor is one way of dealing with trauma, but yeah, definitely keep it online. You never know who was traumatized by it. (I flew paper planes into block towers to try and process it, but I was four-going-on-five when I saw it live on TV, so can you blame me?)
