It should have been obvious that after Bridget discourse being the playbook for every “totally not a trans woman” character discourse that Bridget discourse would also be the playbook for every “actually that character is undeniably a trans woman” discourse that follows the first. Not that it happens as often, but of course it would go the same way.

for the record the new playbook is that once is become nearly impossible to deny the character is a trans woman (although some will still try) the discourse will become about how shes actually a bad character and overrated and you should care about this cis gay boy instead.
