Some of you think Cas is not susceptible to Dean tears but not me. I think if Dean cried hard enough he could get Cas to do whatever he wanted.

To be clear, I do not think that Dean would like. Fake cry to get something he wanted. I also don't think that would work I think it would have to be genuine. I'm just saying if in "The Future", Dean had cried big fat Studio Ghibli tears when Cas came back, Cas wouldn't have dared steal The Colt he'd be too busy looking helplessly for tissues in his coat pockets and begging Dean to stop crying while wondering if he could get a pie anywhere nearby at this hour.

#oh 100% #like we talk about how if Cas started crying Dean would immediately be losing his fucking mind trying to fix everything in the world for hi #but if Cas saw Dean crying over something? #well. let's just say. a huge part of why Cas did All Of That (everything he did in the entire series) #is because in season 4 he witnessed Dean weeping quietly in his hospital bed over not feeling like he could handle the Righteous Man stuff #he heard Dean cry and say he couldn't carry all that by himself #and immediately was like ''oh I guess I will now be carrying Everything™ now so he doesn't have to'' #and simply never stopped trying to do that #what I'm saying is that Dean crying literally rewired Cas's brain permanently #if he cried in front of Cas more often it might actually fix Cas a little bit (via @ilarual)
