Even though I'll wish him success on any roles he takes, I really do hope he gets to play another queer character in the future on a project with better writers who are not chronically online. Bonus points if it was a TV show where he's a series regular. 🙂‍↕️

i’ve been wondering for a while now if he was open to seeking out more roles where the character is queer. i do think he did amazing with tommy and it also showed how he could play a more introspective character that isn’t just a 1 episode thing.

like i said, it’s insane they filmed that whole scene and actually aired it. the audience loves seeing it every time, not just bucktommy fans.

in 2017 he mentioned how he had played different types of boyfriends in his career, and even played the “gay boyfriend.” when asked if he had to do a kissing scene, he said no, and that he wasn’t quite ready for that yet.

then in 2024, he seems to not only be ready but excited and open to doing it many times over. he’s done interviews, liked fanart, watched edits, and responded to so many fans who wanted to tell him how much his work as tommy means to them.
