Regulus: read the book, makes sure everyone knows he read the book, loved the movie and made everybody else watch it and went again every single time and rated it on Letterboxd immediately after his first watch. He definitely got pissed off when resellers bought all the Rocky habitat popcorn buckets

James: went with Regulus the first time, loved Rocky, read the book after, loved Rocky even more. I lowkey think he would really like all the science-y bits in the book and wants all the stupid science shirts they had in the movie. He says amaze amaze amaze regularly

Sirius: he doesn’t really care about reading the book but he did like the movie and 100% rated it on Letterboxd before leaving the theater and immediately tried to track down that fox sweater for Remus

Remus: He read the book before the movie was even announced, at first he was a bit critical of the changes made in the movie, but they grew on him over time- he and Regulus didn’t shut up about the real astrophotography in the end credits. He really liked that fox sweater.

Dorcas: she liked the movie, but I don’t think she’s really a sci-fi girl at heart, she definitely loved Rocky’s attitude and was pretending she didn’t cry when he almost died and then when Ryland realized the taumoeba can get through xenonite.
