In the middle of the night, when people are sleeping, they started bombing civilian districts with all types of missiles
Lots of buldings damaged, many injured and yet unknown about the exact number of casualties
One of the biggest cities in Europe is all on fire being bombed to ground all because the little goblin and his ppl don’t want Ukraine to exist anymore
They want us to sign a peace deal that’s essentially capitulation and give up everything we have, what we fought for

I know the news barely talk about Ukraine anymore, especially in the US. I know because I live here and I got asked about what’s the situation back home for the first time in MONTHS recently, in months… and every time I don’t know what to say because it is bad, still really really bad and people need help
I have friends in Kyiv, I am constantly anxious about them. I have my family and friends in other cities and I am constantly worried and scared for them
This isn’t right, this shouldn’t be our reality, this is NOT okay and I’m writing this as a desperate post just begging people, whoever reads this, to not forget about Ukraine
Russia has just bombarded Kyiv with the heaviest ballistic missile bombardment since the start of the full scale invasion in February 2022. This includes two 'Oreshnik' missiles, normally configured to carry nuclear warheads. When not carrying a nuclear payload, they are long-range, but have mediocre accuracy. Even if aimed at a military target, the Russians know that massive collateral damage will be caused by submunitions. Many high-rise housing blocks have been hit. The use of Oreshniks is intended to send a message of terror and intimidation to civilians, but after years of bombardment with drones and other missiles, Ukraine is unlikely to yield.
Casualties are likely to be high and updates will trickle through during the day. Existing interceptor drones are good at stopping Russian 'Shahed' drones, but much less capable at stopping missiles.

Vampire bats are the only bats capable of walking and also drink like a single teaspoon of blood at a time and their saliva actually has antibiotics in it that doctors have been using for medicine

First of all, thank you for such a positive question. I, like many Ukrainians, am always happy to see a character from any fandom or an oc wearing Ukrainian clothing, having a Ukrainian hairstyle, or even just including any element of our culture. And of course, we’re always glad to support this kind of art.
I’ve seen that some foreigners worry that there might be certain cultural restrictions — like things non-Ukrainians aren’t allowed to wear — but that’s not really the case in Ukraine. For us, sharing elements of culture with others is generally part of hospitality, like exchanging items of traditional clothing, for example.

checkered path into unknown, a theme I wanted to maintain for all 4 of them. the exit itself is in the cloud, just like June, one with the wind
ideas and symbols:
memories of childhood and self washing away into the distance, water wind clouds all as a manifestation of her hero of breath status and self perception at large
a look back at something that is so far behind but also right in front of you, end of game, freedom, undecided future and a familiar tire swing
thoughts:
want to add that heir of breath, embodiment of freedom and wind and being so so light etc. is probably my fav thing about June and how it interacts with her gender, body and mind

the land of light and rain forming her face and her eyes are teary being well the Rain part of it all, furniture, books and computers and other components of a usual life floating away, sinking, breaking down and returning to dust to form a sea floor. a tiny martini glass on the edge

instead of the exit being withing arms reach like on June's piece, Roses is inside her own mind, something something seer of light being able to see all but her own mind, how overbearing infinite knowledge can be to one huh
I love this comic so much it always is a huge inspiration on anything with Rose I ever made. I don't even know why it stuck(no pun intended) with me so much but I just can't get it out of my head whenever I think about Rose

note: this one took me way too long. I had another version but I hated it so much I redrew Daves part completely at the point of progress where everything was pretty much finished. no regrets tho. wish I came up with a way to include davesprite here but well

a witch of space, gazing at her friends from a far far away star. looking closer and closer, being careful not to mess anything up, and when she almost reaches them the game crashes. truly you never realise loneliness of space and yet it's endlessness until you get too close to the sun (green sun pun intended).
