Till my sweetheart… I LOVE THIS SONG.

First of all, this isn’t out of character for him at all. Till is a rebel but he’s a cutie pie at heart. He dresses punk, acts punk, but feels like any human being would. I’m of the belief that if he were to be raised in a healthy environment, he’d still appreciate the alternative styles and dabble in them but he’d be a sweetheart. He’s a cat, guys… His personality is that of a rescued cat. So, by that analogy if he didn’t need to be rescued in the first place, he’d be like a grumpy but clingy and loving cat.

The song isn’t in spanish (unfortunately), and i don’t know korean so we’ll have to do with the translation i got out of genius.

It starts with “I feel pathetic whenever i stand in front of you, Crush!” I think most people will say this verse is about Mizi, but I think it’s about Ivan. The song in its entirety is not about only Mizi or Ivan, because like Vivinos and Qmeng said, he has feelings for both. In different ways. I think Till may be feeling pathetic whenever he stands in front of Ivan bc *lore* and “Scenario: Crush?” verse is literally whispered. This verse is followed by “I can’t say a word, I turn back around every day.” But the first verse is also about Mizi. Like I said, Till’s words can apply to both of them, this is just how I want to analyze it. I can even say that the first half of the song may entirely be about Mizi while the second half is about Ivan and it would still make sense with these yearning ass lines. Anyway…

“Do you luv me? I do. Don't you leave me. I'll probably get it across to you for sure. Close the distance between us. To be inside your heart...”

This verse reeks of misunderstood emotions to me… and then it’s followed by “Do you luv me? I do. Don't you hate me? I get scared again like an idiot. Widen the distance between us, Mi Vida Loca...”

I GET SCARED *AGAIN* LIKE AN IDIOT. WIDEN THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US. if this isn’t about the time they escaped the Anakt Garden then I’ll leave this fucking fandom. It’d be good for my heart anyway.

I think around here, “(Oh) Your smile that doesn't love me (Even so) I'll also smile at me who doesn't love myself.”

Till makes peace with the fact that Mizi does not reciprocate his feelings and the verses become entirely about Ivan. So while the first half is about Mizi the same verses become applied to Ivan in the second half of the song. Me thinks…

“I want to live a little longer. So please keep loving me.”

The tragedy of Alien Stage isn’t the deaths, slavery, or the apocalypse. It is the fact that even though humans were raised completely different from how they should have been, at the end of the day, they all wanted to live. They wanted to love because they wanted to live.

In their minds the reactions we deem to certain emotions are connected to other things. Crying is a humane response to sadness, it can be seen as unsightly but here her crying because of her pain is seen as “adorable”.

“I just felt like I’d be at peace being in a place where I’m not the one being crushed but a place where I could crush someone.”

“Crush” in Mizi’s definition means protecting but also suffocating. Her “provider” got crushed in front of her, most likely whilst trying to protect her or by the Segyeins.

Her finding Sua “adorable” is directly linked to how her owner found her “adorable” while she was being “crushed”. She associates certain emotions with certain experiences, which are inherently different experiences from what a normal human would associate it with.

she didnt like others thinking her life was “easy” hence why she slapped sua. mizi didn’t like others only liking her because she was pretty hence her mild dislike towards till. mizi wore the “pure, innocent, and naive” personality like an armour. it wasnt meant to be deceiving it was meant to protect. people are so used to one dimensional characters that their reading comprehension gets chucked out the window whenever a character has a little more depth than they’re used to. im fucking sick and tired of it.

i need people to leave the semi-academic and highly diagnostic words theyve picked up from media and think and fucking analyze for themselves for one fucking second. (im very pressed about how people analyze certain stuff) i saw someone say shes BIPOLAR?? if there is one thing she is we can say with certainty it is that she is a LESBIAN!!!!

also, i hope i dont see “nooo mi healthy relationship!!” there are no healthy relationships in alien stage. none. because the characters do not get raised in a healthy environment. they do not know how to differentiate their own emotions.

i want to say more and do a more in depth analysis and not something i just ranted down under someone’s posts but im so drained.
