Rashiâs commentary on genesis says that Noah had to bring demons on the ark with him and I have many questions
Now as we all may have assumed the majority of the arkâs biomass was taken up by beetles but give that there are a thousand demons at oneâs right hand and ten thousand at oneâs left, do we think that the biomass of demons surpassed that of beetles? Do demons even have biomass? Rashi please explain

Iâm sorry I donât care if it makes me an insensitive little Jew , if you come across a Mezuzah scroll or WHOLE TORAH SCROLL DO NOT SELL IT ON EBAY!????
Like I understand some of this can and is often fake, but it is so very clearly (particularly for the second pic) that yâall are actually selling sacred items Jews pay sometimes hundreds of dollars for over EBay for 70 bucks.
And letâs not forget some of this stuff has to be buried! If a Mezuzah scroll (not case!!) or Torah scroll is damaged it must have a Jewish ritual burial. This is so wild but not that uncommon. Please reconsider selling this type of Judaica online. Siddur I can understand but Mezuzah scroll and Torah scrolls???????
I just donât understand how hard it is at the very, VERY least to try and give these items to actual Jewish people before trying to make a quick buck off of things we would nearly die or at least appreciate to get our hands on. Making a money off of things we bury as if they were our family, our children. And sometimes is other Jews doing this to! And I just cannot understand it.
Please just let us put our sacred items to rest!
(Again I donât particularly care about other Judaica collectibles but things like these are not collectibles these are sacred items with ways to retire and dispose of them when they arenât useable and when they are they should solely go to Jews due to how valuable they are when it concerns cultural/religious way of life! But hey donât listen to me Iâm just a shande)
As a note to well-meaning goyim:
âI found this in my grandmaâs attic/a storage unit I purchased/a box of random crap I got at a yard sale/[insert other random place here]â:
Rule of thumb, if it has Hebrew writing on it--and Hebrew is distinctive, you canât miss it--call a rabbi. I promise you, no rabbi on Earth is going to be judgy or rude if you say âI found this thing in my grandmaâs attic/a storage unit I purchased/a box of random crap I got at a yard sale/[insert other random place here], and I think it might be a Jewish item, could you please advise?â
If youâre wrong, hey! You showed concern, and thatâs great. If youâre right and itâs something goofy or not sacred, like a challah cover with âshabbatâ written on it, youâve shown concern and can now offer it to a community that has more use than you do. If itâs a non-sacred ritual object, like a Seder plate or a Kiddush cup, you can now put it in hands that can use it.
And if, somehow, you do in fact come across prayerbooks/a Torah scroll/a mezuzah?
The rabbi will know how to determine whether the object is still kosher, and also advise you on how to best dispose of the object (whether by selling/donating to a Jewish community, or, if itâs damaged, through placing in the genizah).
