First, this situation is not one I'm fond of but, because they have revealed the Star Trek welcome decks, the card number that corresponds with the Star Trek set number has been previewed.

So, Star Trek is Magic the Gathering's 115th standard expansion set, and this is that set's 115th card. The reason I'm not too happy with this reveal? We don't even have Reality Fracture's corresponding card yet. That will be card number 114 of MTG's 114th standard expansion set.

As for this card itself? I guess it's alright, though I'm pretty sure there's quicker ways for Black to draw cards than waiting for five mana and paying 1 life for each card.

One thing about Reality Fracture will be the introduction of the "Cadet" token, which is actually a 2/2 colorless Wizard Soldier creature token named Cadet. It will appear on cards of all colors as they represent the enforcement of Jace's control at Hexhaven. However, there are two existing cards that have the Wizard and Soldier types on their type lines.

Just six months before Standard Rotation 2027. Standard Rotation begins with the first Standard set release of the year. In 2027, that is Nauctis: the Sunken Realm at the beginning of February.

Here is the entire Magic the Gathering schedule for 2027. They did not reveal anything about the 2027 Universes Beyond sets. As you can see though, they've added a fourth Magic Con.

The in-universe sets are:

Nauctis: the Sunken Realm, an entirely underwater set where humans are the aliens, releasing February 5th.

Kamigawa: Titanbreach, a planar war between Kamigawa and Ikoria, releasing June 4th.

Zhalfir, the first visit since its return to the multiverse. Mirrodin will have a bit of influence on the plane but Afrofantasy is the major influence. I already love it.
