Ikoria is made up of five triomes. Each triome is associated with a color indicated by the center land type/mana production.

Savai - White, Ketria - Blue, Indatha - Black, Raugrin - Red, Zagoth - Green

Each triome is also associated with a dominant clade: Savai - White - Cats, Ketria - Blue - Elementals, Indatha - Black - Nightmares, Raugrin - Red - Dinosaurs, Zagoth - Green - Beasts

“Oh. Uh. Thank you.”

The bonder awkwardly held her gift - a strange looking rock. Overhead, her starrix companion bowed its horned head, as if to say “You’re welcome.” Meanwhile, the bonder pondered what to do with the curious artifact.

“Well. I’ll just keep this in my pack. Save it for later.”

“Shae!”

A second pair wandered into the clearing: a massive winged insect, and a man clad in chitin armor riding atop its back. The first bonder waved in greeting, still holding the rock in her hand.

“Hello, Jenkins. What brings you this far from the swamps?”

“I heard there were beasts giving out free wishes around here!” chimed the armored bonder. “Anything I or Carapace here could imagine!”

Shae suppressed a snicker. “Well, I’m sorry to disappoint, Jenkins, but the ‘wishes’ aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. Here, try it with Bough.”

Jenkins guided Carapace to land beside Shae, where he dismounted and craned his neck to look up at the starrix. “So…How do I…?”

“Just hold out your hands. And again, don’t hold your breath.”

Jenkins raised his arms and waited expectantly. After a brief moment, a blinding flash enveloped the area. When it faded, Jenkins now held a sandwich in his hands, much to his excitement.

“I forgot to tell Bough, but it still knew I was wishing for food! So the rumors were true!”

“What! So you get a sandwich, but I got…” Shae briefly trailed off before continuing to grumble. “So it seems that the contents of these wishes are quite varied. I haven’t seen anything like that before. Or…anything substantial at all before.”

“Maybe you aren’t wishing right?”

Shae scowled. Jenkins thought perhaps he had said the wrong thing, prompting him to suggest something else:

“W-Well, maybe we could get you a wish from someone else? I heard it was Illuna who started this wish thing, anyway.”

Shae hung her head and sighed, “Believe it or not, I already tried with Illuna. It…also gave me a rock.”

“A rock?”

Shae quickly pocketed the stone in question, hiding it. “Forget it.”
