I absolutely HATE, and I mean HATE how the only way you can keep up with most EXE content is through twitter. I hate that website with a burning passion, and the fact that most info on some good EXEs and comics only exist on twitter genuinely piss me off, yes it is that serious. Pope Leo is letting American bishops entirely ban trans healthcare for both minors and adults in all Catholic-owned hospitals and clinics, and stop coverage for trans healthcare through Catholic-affiliated health insurance plans!!

People are having surgeries, for which they were on waitlists for years, suddenly cancelled. Hormones no longer covered, their clinicians no longer able to prescribe them. Considering in some states Catholic-owned healthcare organizations make up to a third of the market, as it were, this is a HUGE issue.

Missing hormones. Canceled surgeries. Bureaucratic denials. Late last year the Catholic Church banned all trans healthcare across its sprawl

This has been happening since November of last year, when this vote took place, but no one is talking about it. The rehabilitation of the image of the papacy through Pope Leo is killing me, it’s still the goddamn Catholic Church. You do not gotta hand it to them.

It’s finally happened.

After almost a decade on this site, I found another Tumblr user in the wild. I stopped to tie my shoe with rainbow laces this morning outside the silversmith at Colonial Williamsburg, and I heard it.

“I like your shoelaces.”

Oh. Oh no.

I responded the only way I could. “Thanks.” And then I reluctantly added, “I stole them from the president…and if that makes sense to you, I’m very sorry.”

The poor man, in full Colonial dress, stared at me for a long moment. And then burst into laughter. And said, “I haven’t thought about that in YEARS and this has never happened to me before.”

Yeah. Me neither. Not until today.

Been to the pride festival in my town, bought some merch and got some slightly political stickers, green party Germany and - fucking surprising - American Dems. They want people with dual citizenship to vote from abroad, no kidding.

Btw the green party sticker says "no sex with nazis".

The fan was a bit disappointing, they sold it folded up, and you couldn't see the two damn logos until you unwrapped and unfolded it. Had to put some pins in it.

Anyway happy pride from Germany!
