Call me JJ! Art is an extremely important passion of mine. I want to focus on my original characters; though I'm not opposed to drawing the odd fanart or two, especially Cult of the Lamb. I hope to one day make something with my stories. Maybe a comic. Maybe an illustrated novel! Only time will tell.

Cult of the Lamb | POV: You are About to Be Eaten

You take your time browsing the many stalls in the market at Pilgrim's Passage. There was no reason for you to be here per se, but it was nice being out of the house, even for a little while. The end of the stalls came into sight. Past them, there was nothing but forest. Trees and bushes and berries. Nothing interesting. Nothing you wouldn't be seeing later on your trek home. Except. The bushes rustled. A small creature, perhaps, but no, your hair stood on end enough to be noticeable. There was a hush on the wind. And on that wisp of wind came a whisper of "little one...." You had heard tell of strange things lingering in the darkness. Every fiber of your being warned you to turn around. Go back to the market. Ignore the eerie thing calling out to you. You took a step towards the forest's edge. "Even closer, little one..." It encouraged and praised every inch gained. Until you stood right at the edge of the forest, close enough to gather the berries and camellia blossoms growing from the branches. Fear gripped your entire being, yet still you did not turn away from the darkness that seemed to be reaching around like claws. Those claws became manifest, two hands reaching out in welcome accompanied by a wide grin and eyes so red, they broke the darkness without scaring it backward. No, no, it was like they accentuated it instead. Beckoning you ever closer. Beckoning you. To your demise.
