Due to this entire situation, I will no longer be providing the service of this update blog, as that is essentially free pr, and I am leaving their discord, so I couldn't provide the service even if I wanted to.

rox and qwel hurt a lot of people, both through action and inaction, and then they both handled the situation horribly. It was a let down to the community, and more importantly, it was a let down to every victim affected by this. This is something that cannot be reversed.

Running this blog was fun. I liked having something to do, and I liked helping the community, even if half of it was you guys sending me obvious questions and poorly faked screenshots /lh /aff.

It was a nice learning experience for me too. I don't think I'm ever running an update blog again. It was certainly work.

I say before showing you guys my probably more work-intensive project lmao.

I hope everyone here finds a game out there that they love just as much, and end up being actually able to see through to the end! Sorry to those who wanted to see dw finished, and to flavor frenzy fans who haven't gotten ANYTHING about the game in 2 years. And probably never will. What a way to kill a game.

The fate of this blog

As it has been over a week since this all came out, and there has been no response from Qwel, (along with the very damning document posted of collected testimonies), I am choosing to quit my "job" of providing updates to people who are unable/don't want to use the discord. I will no longer provide free help to a creator who did something like this.

This blog will remain up for two months while I archive every post here to a new blog, where everything will hopefully stay preserved. All of this will be tagged "Blushcrunch finale" for those who need to block it when scrolling through the archive.

After two months, I will delete this blog, along with Dandy's world updates. It's sad to see this go, considering I put time and effort into this, but it's for the best.

I don't know what I'm doing with Blushy. I want to keep her, but it feels almost wrong to do so. I'll figure it out.

My name is Leviathan, but you can just call me Levi if it suits your fancy better. I go by he/they/it pronouns. I only used any for anonymity. I started this blog May 6th, 2025, on a whim, sharing the new skin. Pebble with a fried egg on his head.

The project I was talking about

Toons left behind, or TLB for short, is a vote driven choose your own adventure, heavily inspired by The Walking Dead cyoa game. (I MISS LEE AND CLEM.) It follows the stories of various toons who get left behind by the elevator, and end up trapped down below. Will the make their way up, or will they fall to the twisted infested floors below? It's up to you to decide.

It's an au, simply because I also started slightly rewriting dandy's world. I filled in some gaps of story that we didn't have quite yet in the official canon of dw, and I made some stuff up too. Explanation of the things I changed is in the pinned.

It would mean the world to me if you guys checked out the project, and actually play it when I finish drawing the tutorial. This project is extremely community driven, as I need actual people to vote to progress the story. Tlb is on my mind a lot, so getting it out there and testing my project skills on something real would be nice for once. If you are interested, I ask you to KEEP PESTERING ME ABOUT IT. I have adhd and keep getting side tracked. If you want to see it, hop in my asks and tell me to keep working on it.

I think it's very safe to say I am quitting. Even if qwel does end up taking the good route and getting legal action taken against rox, it's clear that it will be shallow. She doesn't seem to care for her actions, only her consequences.

She has been dismissive and rude of victims, and has repeatedly avoided taking actions against rox. It's clear that she is not someone to be supported.

I'll start the process of archiving this blog, and my resignation + who am I post will be posted later today.

And just so people know, the Shelly merchandise ads were poor timing. It was likely scheduled and couldn't be held off.

If I end up officially quitting bc updates, yes! I figured I'd use the following I gathered to promote my project, even if that's a bit selfish.

I still hope she does make a response but for now, if this information is true, let's hope things go well and to stay as positive as possible.

Potentially. I really hope that's what's going on, but Qwel likes to ignore things. A simple "We're working on it, give us a minute" instead of radio silence and locking the discord would have been nice. She even uploaded two videos and released a plushie WHILE this was happening. (Admittedly, the shelly plushie was most likely a scheduled thing, but still).

I want to hope she's truly doing something good about this, but I don't have high hopes. That's why I'm giving it until saturday before I decide to start archiving the blog. Also giving it about a month or two until I actually delete it.

I'll let you guys know if anything else happens in the discord though, or if I'm going to discontinue this.

I'm going to wait. Roughly a week. That's the maximum I think a good response would take.

I agree, likely nothing will come of this, And I'll have to leave this behind anyway, but I like to hold out hope.

Eh. I'm not entirely sure about innocent, but I agree. Dandys world was very enjoyable to me.
