"Give me a sign" The sign in question.
I stopped scrolling before noticing the trans monster flag and noticed the Walmart banner and found myself once again wondering why businesses in Texas constantly advertise that they're in Texas to Texans in Texas who presumably are aware of of the fact this stuff is in Texas?
I lived in Texas for about three years and before I moved I assumed that Texans being obsessed with Texas must be some sort of stereotype but no. It’s even more extreme than you think it is.
Anyways this does look like my experience of living in Texas transgender monster cans included
This is a lupin III episode whose English dub title was “but your brother was such a nice guy”
let’s go back to the vampire twin sister of jesus christ for a second i havent fully processed that part yet
Every time the Japanese treat Christian folklore with the same playfulness that westerners treat Nordic and Greek folklore, a hilariously appropriated angel gets its anime wings

THATS EXACTLY IT THANK YOU SO MUCH
i see that you media addicted louts have filled your tomodachi life islands with video game and movie characters instead of great leftist thinkers

if you can’t fix it you’ve got to stand it being the last line of the brokeback mountain novella is so crazy it makes me feel like my guts are falling out. if you can’t fix it you’ve got to stand it. jesus fucking christ

heartening saga honestly

well it'd be weird if i didn't. happens to all of us eventually yknow.
my inbox is trying to expedite my place in the cycle of saṃsāra. mixed signals.
i recently saw a tiktok where a woman asked "girlies: what are some things you do to be more whimsical? I love knowing cute little habbits"
and i've never loved a comment section more. some of my faves:
(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
I talk to basically everything as if it's a person. I greet passing crows as my "cousins." I respond conversationally to my cats. I yell "same to you!" when inanimate objects make loud noises. I say good morning to plants. I thank my phone when an alarm goes off. When objects don't act the way I want them to I explain what I need them to do, or tell them they're being rude. I tell my car when we're stopping for gas.
I reassure credit card readers who are struggling that I know they are doing their best. Bless you, you funky lil machine, I'm sorry my dad is part of the reason people hate you. :(
I'll be stealing that one and that one and that one, thank you very much!

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.

You know as an American born in the late 90s I’ve watched my country blow up foreigners on tv supposedly in the interest of national security since I was a toddler but quite frankly we live on a natural fortress of a continent with friendly nations to our north and south and have been attacked on our own soil literally two times in the past hundred years and we have military bases on every inhabited continent on earth. It’s never made sense to do these things for “national security”. It never will make sense unless you value the shareholders of weapons companies over the lives of children. And apparently a concerning amount of people do.
I think it's really funny how the practice of bleeping out profanity is not only completely ineffective as a censorship tool, it's had the opposite effect of creating an environment where it's ridiculously easy to edit apparent profanity into footage that doesn't actually contain it. Like you can just grab any audio or video clip and bleep out anything and people will automatically mentally insert profanity in there it fucking rules.
my favorite example of this is the count's song from sesame street where they censor the word "count"
This is the greatest thing humanity has produced
