The privacy aspect is absolutely for readers benefit because, once comfortable, Cassandra will have absolutely no problem sticking her tongue down your throat at any given time. Walking down a hallway? Breakfast with her family? Hunting a maid? All at smooch o'clock. your lucky if you make it to her room tbh.
I could see Cassandra being the daughter to instate an almost sock on the door handle scenario where if u see it DO NOT COME IN YES DANI EVEN YOU LEAVE but also her sisters would never listen so like what's the point rlly.

Cassandra waited for silence to reign again before sighing. What more could she do? She was stuck.
Realising the door was still ajar she rolled her eyes. That's two maids who'd be meeting her worktable.
Just as she went to close the door she noticed something on the floor, wrapped in a thin grey towel. She could feel the warmth before she touched it, cradling it close.
Right. She'd sent a maid to heat it.
She turned the hot water bottle around.
A drop of blood was soaked into the towel.
Growling, Cassandra slammed the door shut.
And opened it again.
And slammed it shut.
And opened it again.
And again.
And again.
"Cassandra!"
The brunette paused, the ruins of her bedroom door surrounding her, her breathing ragged.
She wiped her face, surprised by the moisture.
Oh.
She's crying.

Cassandra's face turned to stone. She turned to the window, her only protection from the flurry of snow outside.
