Worst part about finding out somebody lied to you is having to sit there and wonder what else they lied about.

i used to have sleepless nights just trying to figure out what else you lied about, taunting myself with thoughts like, did i do something wrong? was i not enough? what did they have that i didn’t?

but now i know my worth, i know it was never me, i gave you my all. and even then, my efforts went to vain.

i’m still learning to let someone new in but the thought of getting hurt again pulls me back each time. you must feel good about that lol.
