Simple resolution.

Director George Stevens sit with the leads of his movie The Talk of the Town (1942) which included Cary Grant, Jean Arthur and Ronald Colman. The movie was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture. While the film is referred to as a comedy, it is more of a social drama that happens to include some humorous scenes. Most comedies at the time of the film’s release did not ordinarily have serious plots. The film was a success and was noted for its blend of comedy and social commentary.
