why are all the actual real human jobs like baker and florist and childcare worker barely paying livable wages but the fake jobs like ai specialist boot licker or marketing campaign dick sucker making six figures

you can post on tumblr even when you're trying to take a break from social media it literally doesn't count. it's like pepsi max, or pescatarianism

torchwood and the sarah jane adventures being set in the same universe is the funniest thing in the world oh my god. for several reasons but mostly bc through various quirks and features of their respective age demographics and sci fi subgenres the gang of plucky teens and their mentor the middle aged investigative journalist single mother end up a) handling on the whole larger scale and more existential threats and b) being more competent at defending the world from aliens than the high tech highly funded extragovernmental agency dedicated to defending the world from aliens. no notes. every single franchise should operate like this
