Appearance

Irma is a storm cloud with dark purplish-grey skin and darker purple hair tied in a ponytail (shaped like a rounded lightning bolt) on the back. She wears a yellow one-piece swimdress tied with a dark yellow ribbon by the waist, a pair of dark yellow sunglasses, and a pair of yellow flipflops. 

Personality

As her information card entails, Irma is loud and very quick to anger. Even the most minor annoyances tend to get an ire out of her, resulting in her violently lashing out at others either verbally, physically, or both. She's also got quite the ego, and isn’t shy about flaunting and bragging about her surfing skills to others.

However, all of this combined tends to make overconfident and rash, as stated in her info card. Letting her ego and anger take the wheel in making her decisions, allowing August to defeat her whenever they clash. She also has a tendency to hold grudges and be quite vengeful, as she often tries to “get back” at August for defeating her in surfing (or other competitions).

Abilities

Thunderstruck Active This Toon can summon a lightning storm that shocks any and all Twisteds on the map, making Twisteds in a chase lose interest immediately and makes all Twisteds blind for 5 seconds. 

Shocking Headstart Passive All Toons have their stamina restored to full once the Elevator opens and when Panic Mode begins. For each additional Irma in the round, all Toons gain an extra 15 points of max stamina for 20 seconds when the elevator opens and when Panic Mode starts.

Twisted Irma

"One of the Holiday Rival Characters of Dandy’s World, rival to August. It’s a race against the clock when up against this Twisted, her already low patience has worn thin. While a seemingly harmless thunder cloud at first, run for cover or parry quickly when you see sparks or she’ll give you a nasty shock!”

Twisted Irma is a special Twisted that will pick a Toon. Starting with the lowest stealth first, then moving up to the one with the highest stealth last, then cycling back to the one with lowest stealth. If there are two or more Toons with the same stealth stat, she’ll pick one at random until she’s visited them all. She will then hover above them, following at the exact same pace as the Toon she’s targeting. 

Twisted Irma won’t do anything for about 15 seconds but at the 10 second mark she’ll start sparking, if the player has not ducked behind an obstacle when the 15 seconds are up, she’ll zap the player, dealing a heart of damage, and leaving to the next one. But if the player is behind an obstacle when she strikes, they won’t take damage and she’ll leave. If the player can’t reach a hiding space in time or is a distractor, they can parry her lightning by pressing the spacebar at the last second, similar to skill checks.

Trivia

Irma’s design is based on Rainmaker’s from Toontown: Corporate Clash, as well as Stormy Weather from Miraculous Ladybug and Lime Cookie from Cookie Run.

Irma is the twin sister of Iris, and therefore Raine’s aunt. Both are rather estranged from her however, as Iris does not feel comfortable letting Irma take care of her daughter, citing Irma as “a bad influence”.

Twisted Irma’s mechanic is based on the Thunder Cloud from Mario Kart Wii.
