let me explain these a little bit (get ready for a LOT of rambling + headcanons):
- EVERYONE knows that Blaze and Crusher are together, but Blaze just talks about it more than Crusher
- Crusher fell first, but Blaze definitely fell harder. When Crusher first met Blaze, the reason why he wanted to be better than him was to impress everyone, and that included Blaze himself because deep down, Crusher was actually starting to fall in love with Blaze but wanted to suppress those feelings by instead trying to compete against him and be better than him. (obviously that didn’t do shit) Despite Crusher’s constant cheating and power-seeking, Blaze did in fact become impressed by his efforts. As they got closer and became less like enemies and more like friends, Blaze started to get those feelings for Crusher, which only grew and grew. But since he’d never been in an actual relationship before, he was afraid of rejection so he kept the feelings to himself for a long time. Crusher’s feelings grew as well. Neither of them knew that one had feelings for the other. Surprisingly, Crusher was the one to confess first, and Blaze was over the moon.
- I feel like it makes sense that Blaze would be the one to die for Crusher. He literally risks his own safety to save his friends (ahem that one scene in video game land cough cough) more than once in the series, so he’d definitely sacrifice himself to saved a loved one, including Crusher. I think that Crusher being the one to kill for Blaze fits because in the series, he tends to try and get revenge a lot. (For example, when Blaze destroys one of his cheats, he immediately makes another one to get revenge.) So if anyone hurt Blaze in any way, he would NOT be the type to forgive.
- I think it makes sense that Blaze’s things are more organized than Crusher. Crusher tends to be more forgetful and careless than Blaze, implying that his things may be more disorganized and messy.
- Crusher is normally the big spoon and Blaze is normally the little spoon, but I feel like their positions (PLEASE don’t take that out of context I’m just talking about cuddling i SWEAR 😖) would depend on their moods. For example, if Crusher had a bad day and needed comfort, Blaze would let him be little spoon. And obviously the other way around too.
- I think that Blaze doesn’t have much experience with cooking, so he definitely needs some guidance when it comes to making food. Crusher is much more experienced with cooking than Blaze (this is sort of canon because in Meatball Maybem he was the one making the meatballs, implying that he’s good at cooking), so he often teaches him how to cook.
- Since being with Crusher is Blaze’s first time being in an actual relationship, he realizes that being loved by someone is one of the best things someone could ask for, so he loves being in love. Crusher, for a while, was unsure if he actually wanted to start a relationship with Blaze, because his relationships in the past rarely ended well, so he didn’t know if he could trust Blaze if they ever started a relationship, which adds on to why he had previously tried to suppress his feelings for Blaze. His trust for Blaze slowly grew with time, so now he loves being in love almost as much as Blaze does.
- Their relationship OBVIOUSLY works out long-term. They’re able to work out each other’s flaws and learn to build their trust between one another, strengthening their relationship.
