Appearance
Dandy is a flower Toon of an unknown/fictional species (in contrast to characters like June and Bella who are based on flowers/plants found in real life). His most defining features are his six petals which are individually red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, in a clockwise order, with red being at the very top of his head. His red, orange, and purple petals are slicked back a bit, almost resembling hair or a mane. His face and torso are off-white, while his limbs and blush are mint green. He also has a small green leaf tail and a noticeably chubby body type.
In the show, and prior to the shutdown, Dandy wore a pair of light blue overalls with shorts and a front pocket that has a lighter blue flower symbol on it under a white dress shirt with rolled up sleeves, a pair of brown boots and gloves, and rainbow socks.
Post-shutdown, Dandy wears a white dress shirt with long sleeves, a dark green apron with darker green pockets, a rainbow necktie (under his green petal), and brown pants, gloves, and darker brown shoes. His leaf tail also has a chunk taken out of it, and he has two green leaves in between his red, purple, and orange petals. His grin has also become more cat-like.
Personality
Dandy is a jolly, cheerful, energetic, and optimistic Toon with a heart of gold and quite the green thumb. However, he is also quite prideful, with he and Vee becoming rivals due to a “battle of ego”. He was quite naive and could be overly trusting of others, which would come back to bite him on several occasions. He also tends to be quite rash and impatient, not always thinking ahead.
Post-shutdown, Dandy remains jolly, cheerful, if rather prideful, but it usually tends to be more of a facade rather than something genuine. As not only is he hiding dark secrets behind the "Malfunction Incident” and the “Ichor Operation”, but he is just as scared and confused about the current situation as the rest of the Toons are, more than he lets on.
Dandy has become mentally unstable after the shutdown, most notably having gained a fear of being ignored and/or abandoned, which can cause him to lash out at others. As seen when he becomes his Twisted form when the other Toons don’t buy from his elevator shop. Another sign of his mental instability is him withdrawing and distancing himself from the other Toons, with the exception of Astro and his fellow Lethals.
Despite that, his kindness has mostly remained, especially towards Astro, Pebble, and his fellow Lethals, as demonstrated by the fact that he was the one who brought Dinah back from The Archives and gave her a new purpose as his assistant. Not to mention he feels genuine remorse for what he has done, and for his Twisted form, as demonstrated by his shop dialogue with Astro.
Dandy can be seen in the lobby in his shop to the left, right across from Dyle’s shop. Dandy sells “Toon Liscences”, which are how the player unlocks Toons both by fulfilling their specific requirements and having enough ichor. Like Dyle and Dinah, Dandy can also gossip with the player, giving his thoughts on certain things in Gardenview such as other Toons.
During runs, Dandy runs the elevator shop that shows up at the start of every even number floor. His shop consists of three random items every time it appears, all of them cost a certain number of tapes depending on the rarity of the item. The items in the shop can be ones found on the floors (candies, pops, etc), and ones that are exclusive (with exceptions) to his shop (stopwatch, instructions, etc).
Players can ignore Dandy by not buying anything from him, but it’s generally unwise to do so, since ignoring him for too long allows for Twisted Dandy to appear, who has a chance to show up on floors after Dandy has been ignored at least three times in a row.

Twisted Dandy
"The star of the show. The one who runs the Ichor operation. It's all his fault.”
Twisted Dandy is a roaming Twisted who has a chance of spawning on a floor after the players don’t buy anything in Dandy’s shop for at least three times in a row. When Twisted Dandy spawns, a discordant music box playing “Claire de Lune” will play, which gets louder the closer you are to him.
Twisted Dandy, like other Lethals, has the ability to kill any Toon in a single hit, regardless of how much health said Toon has. He is alerted to completed machines, and will go to the most recently finished machine. He will also be alerted whenever someone picks up a tape.
Similar to Twisted Ginger, Dandy has a very long attention span, making getting his attention off of you quite difficult. Especially since unlike Twisted Ginger, smoke bombs and most Twisted-evading abilities/trinkets don’t work on him.

Trinket Category: Extraction Speed
Increases your extraction speed the more tapes you have, increasing by 5% per 100 tapes. Capping at 25% with 500 tapes.
Trivia/Headcanons/Lore
Despite mostly being associated with/wearing white, rainbow, and/or green, Dandy’s favorite color is actually pink!
Dandy’s favorite candies are gumballs, he also likes anything bubblegum flavored as a result.
Dandy has a slight southern accent, shown mainly when he says things like “ya’ll” instead of “you all” and words like “doing” as “doin’”.
This coincides with the fact GoS!Dandy is from the Southern U.S in terms of real-world nationality.
Similar to Webby, while he exhibits traits of his species (in this case a flower), he is not of any specific species that can be found in real life.
This is in contrast to June, Venus, and Bella, who are all plants that can be found in real life (A hibiscus, a venus flytrap, and a rafflesia respectively).
However, Dandy does specifically exhibit traits of Ox Daisies (or “Dog Daisies” or “Moon Daisies”), like how Webby exhibits traits seen in ants but is not explicitly an ant.
Dandy is the only Toon to have a rainbow border for his information card.
What is under post-shutdown Dandy’s gloves depends on the person who is looking at his hands. Those who see him as a monster will see claws, but those who don’t (ex: Astro) will see regular hands.
Dandy does not like being called by his real first name and/or his last name, unless it’s by someone he’s close to (Ex: Astro, Dyle, Dinah, etc).
Dandy has a taste for classical music, his favorite song being Claire de Lune.
When Dandy is depicted with colored eyes, his eyes are a mint green (excluding skins).
Dandy is banned from Teagan’s tea parties for unknown reasons.
By contrast, Dyle and Dinah are allowed at Teagan’s tea parties
Dandy was used for various experiments by Delilah Keen while the center was still opened. These experiments were believed by Delilah to be “improvements” for Dandy. Some of the experiments did improve him (such as fixing his breathing issues), but others caused…unforseen consequences.
Dandy CAN transform into his Twisted form at will like the other two Lethals, but he prefers not to and he finds it difficult to do so compared to Dinah and Dyle.
While he rarely if ever let it be known, Dandy struggled with the pressures that came with his fame, of being THE main character of the show and mascot of the center. Most can’t be normal about human celebrities, what makes one think they’d be normal about a Toon one?
The pressure combined with Delilah’s experiments ultimately caused the Malfunction Incident.
Dandy is the one to bring back the Toons after they die during runs, specifically via use of The Printing Press, which brought the Toons to life in the first place.
Dandy is better at retro (for the time) games (Arcade, NES, SNES, etc) but is worse at “modern” games (Gamecube, for example).
Dandy wants tapes because they contain episodes of the show on them, which Dandy watches as a coping mechanism. Thus keeping his Twisted self at bay.
What parts of the AU's lore differ from the cannon?
Garden of Sin’s lore differs in that it expands on the original game’s lore (so stuff like Dinah’s lore, Jackson’s lore, etc are there alongside the canon lore like Bobette and Bassie’s).
As well as giving more stuff to lore that was underdeveloped such as Dandy’s.
Generally the there are four narrative themes of Garden of Sin:
1) The dehumanization of Toons done for the sake of “The business” (Dandy the mascot, Dinah the reject, Dyle the tool/worker, Vee the machine, etc).
2) Cartoon tropes don’t always apply well to real life and/or the struggles of conforming to a role that was predetermined for you (Pearl, Squirm, etc).
3) Ignorance and ambition (demonstrated by the founders) ultimately led to Gardenview’s downfall.
4) How the Toons cope (usually poorly) with the aftermath of the shutdown (Romeo, Clover, August, Annie, etc).

I'm back everybody! The horrors persist but so do I and my hyperfixation. To start off, I want to show off my logo for "Dandy's World: Garden of Sin". But what is Garden of Sin?
Dandy's World: Garden of Sin (or "Dandy's World: Sin Garden", "Garden of Sin" or simply "Sin Garden") is simply put my fanon of the original Dandy's World. It's not a fangame (since I don't have the time, funds, expertise, or patience for that), but it does sorta act like one.
Think of it as an AU from the canon Dandy's World like Dandy's Revival and dfeng's fangame AU. This includes my interpretations of the original characters, the OCs, the events, fan-made mechanics, etc (Sorta like "Dandy's World Plus" if that makes sense.) And all AUs I make (ex: Rainbow Garden Precure) extend off of Garden of Sin.
Also it's just better to call it "Sin Garden!Character" instead of "Blaze!Character" or calling my fanon the "Blazeverse" if that makes sense.
By giving my fanon a name, I feel like I'm creating a degree of separation between my fanon and the original canon. Using canon as a sandbox similar to how FNAF, Eddsworld and FNF fans do with their canons.
So what does this mean regarding content?
❀ All characters will now no longer be separated by "Canon and OC", not necessarily saying I own the exact canon characters now, but I do believe I own my interpretations of them (designs, personalities, HCs, etc) at the very least so...Yeah.
❀ Canon characters will now have bios just like the OC characters, some abilities/stats/trinkets will be reworked, and my HC designs will be included.
❀ Most posts from now on will be tagged with "Dandy's World: Garden of Sin". Only exceptions being AU posts (since the GoS tag refers only to the "base canon") and posts specific to the canon game.
❀ Some OC bios from the older days of the blog (Stitch, Pixi, etc) will be re-uploaded so I can better easily edit them.
Aside from all that, most things will remain the same (skins, most of the lore, etc). Though I may begin to incorporate my headcanon designs into the skins.

Okay I read the document and here's what I have to respond:
I have now blocked ScrambledSakura/Sel on Instagram. After I cut ties with Tari, they contacted me about the stuff Tari did, I have also deleted the DMs I had with him.
I'm still not getting back with Tari. Our relationship became physically and mentally draining regardless of the external drama that followed. Now should I've talked things out with her instead of resorting to ghosting? Yeah. But I was honestly afraid of how she would respond, especially since she has guilt tripped me in the past into staying. I am a people pleaser, I will admit...I also just generally prefer not to be close to people who have a tendency to start/get roped into drama/controversy.
Tari, Sel, and Mad Mage have all done bad things from what I have been told. I cannot say that anyone is "in the right", but I refuse to be a part of their drama/gossip circle anymore.
Ik this blog is on hiatus right now, but I do wanna give an addendum to my previous post. Just to give a bit of clarity surrounding the hiatus and what it means for my fan content now that I'm in a clearer headspace and have come to my own conclusion.
As mentioned before, I will continue to make fan content for Dandy's World regardless of the outcome of the situation and whatever happens to the game. As ultimately making fan content and enjoying a media is not the same as financially supporting a problematic creator or supporting/condoning their actions. And iirc, hearing through the grapevine, that the victims (or at least one of them) have said that people are allowed to enjoy the media and characters so long as they are not supporting the creator.
Not to mention it's characters mean a lot to me, and because it's my hyperfixation it's not something I can easily just abandon because of something ultimately out of my control.
However this does mean I will NOT play the game again until either a statement is made or Qwel steps down.
I will also be keeping my Dandy's World OCs on Artfight (They are MY characters after all) as well, but I have added Marnie (My Bloodmoney OC) should people feel uncomfortable making fanart for Dandy's World come July.
I will also be adding disclaimers to let people know that my depictions of the canon characters and my OCs are unaffiliated with Bl.ushcrunch Studios and do not support the actions of the Qwel.ver R*x, or anyone on the staff.
I will return to making DW content soon. Either this weekend or next week (I do plan on maybe getting Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream this weekend so we'll see). Consider my hiatus both a moment of silence for the victims as well as a breather from this whole mess.
I also plan on giving my fanon a name ("Dandy's World: Garden of Sin/Sin Garden"), logo included, when I return. Ik it's not exactly a "These characters are my OCs now" thing, but I believe this will give a degree of separation between my fanon and the canon game, kinda like a fangame. Plus I've been considering doing that for a while anyways so... :P)
In the meantime, please support the victims whenever possible and please do not financially support the game for the time being. I know I can't control what people do or say in the end, but that's all I can say regarding the situation.
Sigh...I need to make this statement, and yes it is in regards to the current drama surrounding Qwel. I for one, cannot say much about the situation as it is very muddy and I do not consider myself in the right headspace or knowledge threshold to give a strong opinion on it.
For the record, I still love the game and it's characters, and my OCs are not going anywhere. But the situation has currently killed my motivation to draw stuff for or make public content about the game, so I have decided to take a break from doing so.
This game is my hyperfixation, and I am in full support of separating the art from the artist (unless it's a JKR scenario of course). But I also care about the victims just as equally, so I cannot, in good faith, make content for Dandy's World, or play the game, at this current time.
This break will not be permanent, for the record. Perhaps a week at minimum. Regardless of the outcome of the situation, I will still continue to love the game, it's characters, and all the friends and connections it's given me. That does not mean I support/condone anything Qwel has done, allegedly or not.
For the time being, this blog will be on hiatus until further notice.
Now this likely wouldn’t actually happen in the game unfortunately due to Nintendo being VERY protective of their IPs (especially when it comes to Roblox *cough* Pokemon Brick Bronze *cough*).
BUT given the timeline of the game’s events the Dandy’s World show would’ve been airing and the center would’ve still been open during Pokemania/the height of Pokémon’s popularity (Late 90’s to Early 2000s). So it could’ve absolutely happened in-universe.

Appearance
Basil is a green emerald with green skin. He wears a white button-up shirt under an emerald-green jacket with a light yellow tie with a dollar sign pattern on it, emerald-green pants, and dark brown shoes. He also wears a light yellow boater hat with a green band.
Personality
Basil is a very sleazy but affable salesman who doesn’t care who his actions affect, just as long as he gets cash from doing it. However, under certain circumstances, Basil is very much a coward and afraid to stand up for himself, but he is a dirty coward and throws his sister under the bus when given the chance.
Like his sister Scarlet, Basil cares about getting fast cash quickly; however, he is very different from his sister on how to achieve it. As the owner of “Big Bazzie’s Emporium”, he is very much committed to conning Toons into buying stupid stuff for their money. In the show he runs many other businesses around Gardenville, such as car dealerships, toy stores, etc., that are all owned by him and all have very shoddy products.
Sometimes Basil is Scarlet’s partner in crime, helping her get even with her rival Shelly. However, Basil is mostly unsure about working with and helping his sister. But he is afraid to stand up for himself, as Scarlet reprimands him for messing up or screwing around.

This Toon can trade items or trinkets with other nearby Toons for tapes. Items cost 10 to 35 tapes to trade (depending on rarity) while trinkets cost 50 tapes. Toons will also be able to see his items when nearby. Only one item/trinket can be traded at a time. Has a cooldown of 50.
(His ability works similar to Ginger’s in which the player must hold down the ability button to use the ability (but with a slightly bigger range) In which case a menu will open up when successfully activated to trade an item/trinket. The ability will cancel out if the target leaves his range or he/the Toon he’s trading with gets spotted by a Twisted. The cooldown will also only begin until after the trade is over, regardless of result. Also like Ginger’s ability, the player that it’s being used on will be notified via a pop-up that the Basil player wants to trade with them.).

Twisted Basil is a wandering Twisted who attacks not only on the floor he’s on; but also in Dandy’s Shop. On even floors, there’s a chance that one of the items in the shop will be replaced by one of his own shoddy products. These items will do the opposite of their intended purposes and will hinder your performance. Here’s a list of them:
Bazzie’s Chew’em’s (Gumballs): Will lower a random stat by 20% for 10 seconds.
Bazzie’s Taste-tastic Choco Bar (Chocolate): Upon use, decreases Max Stamina by 50% and Walk Speed by 20% for 20 seconds.
Bazzie’s Accurate Clock-o-Matic (Stopwatch): While extracting a Machine, decreases Skill Check window size by 50 for 15 seconds.
Bazzie’s Lemon Lime Chew-It-Up (Stamina Candy): Upon use, decreases Stamina Regeneration by 50% for 20 seconds.
Bazzie’s Blue Raspberry Chew-It-Up (Stealth Candy): Upon use, decreases Stealth by 25% for 8 seconds.
Bazzie’s Fiztastic Soda (Pop): Upon use, depletes 45 Stamina.

Bazzie’s Eject-O-Matic (Eject Button): Upon use, decreases Stealth, Walk, and Run Speed by 25 for 3 seconds, and applies the Slow Debuff, if you don’t have it.
Bazzie’s Sneaky Sneaker Bomb (Smoke Bomb): While not being chased by a Twisted, make it gain interest in you for 3 seconds. (You can be hurt during this time.) (Works on Lethal Twisteds.)
Bazzie’s Krazy Krank-O-Rama Valve (Valve): While extracting a Machine, delays its completion upon use.
If one of Twisted Basil’s items is in the shop, he is guaranteed to spawn on the proceeding floor after Dandy’s Shop closes. But otherwise he behaves like a standard Common Twisted.with only an above average detection range and attention span.

Trivia
Basil is primarily inspired by Lionel Hutz from The Simpsons, along with James from Pokémon, as he serves as the right-hand man to the girl (in this case, his sister Scarlet)
Coincidentally, his older brother Azul’s voice claim is Eric Stuart, who voiced James in the first 8 seasons of Pokemon.
Basil partners with Midas around St. Patrick’s Day and it’s the only time he’s around someone else other than Scarlet.
Two of Basil’s trading dialogues are references to the CDI game “Link: The Faces of Evil”, specifically the character of Morshu, the shopkeeper of the game.
His ability name is a reference to the “Trade Offer” meme.
Basil is sort of the black sheep/odd man out of his siblings, since he is not a diamond (which he even references in one of his extraction quotes) and his name does not allude to or reference his color.
He is also the only Lustera sibling to not be a rival to any other Toon, as Scarlet is Shelly’s rival and Azul is “unofficially” Rodger’s rival.
Basil’s trinket function is similar to Twisted Dandy’s, just weaker. That is on purpose because it is a bootleg plush of Basil compared to the genuine plush of Dandy. Not to mention Basil is a Rare Toon, a couple ranks below Dandy, a Lethal.
