i’m scared of people belittling me or hating me because i don’t understand something or i make a mistake. this is why i dislike tumblr’s community in general. most of them are very unforgiving and actually helped contribute to my trust issues, anxiety and low self-esteem. i know not everyone’s like that, but a vast majority are. 

you’re not ‘cool’ or ‘a hero’ for trying to fight someone over the internet, especially if you end up driving them to self-harm. this is called bullying, and yes, it is a thing. sending hate messages is bullying. don’t do it. instead, try to peacefully talk with them, maybe? not like you’ll listen to me anyways.

don’t deny the truths of the world. mental illness/disability is not pretty, cute or endearing. i have autism, and yes, i am violent sometimes. it’s because i have a hard time controlling my emotions and speaking to people about them. yes, some people are straight and/or cis. not everyone will be like you. there will be people who dislike you. not everyone is going to like you. you don’t have to like everyone or be liked by everyone. you just have to be peaceful about it. 

finally, there are people out there who can’t help others because they’re incapable of doing so. don’t harass them for it, and don’t criticize them for it. instead, encourage them to do research so that when and if they can help, they know how to help.
