There’s a videogame called “Heartbeat Simulator”, where you are a doctor who treats different girls’ heart issues over the course of a week, unlocking new girls and tools as you go. It has a sandbox mode that allows you to do whatever you want with the tools you’ve unlocked. 

This game is entirely in Japanese, and I can’t find any info about it online in Japanese or English. It’s like it doesn’t exist! There’s only these YouTube videos to go off of.

I’m trying to figure out how to play it, and I have a lot of the primary functions figured out, but my Japanese reading ability isn’t amazing and I’m a bit confused as to what some options do and what a lot of the dialogue says.

On the right hand side of the screen there’s adrenaline you can inject the girl with to make her heart beat faster. I think it can only be unlocked by completing the story mode (although it’s always present in the sandbox mode, it won’t do anything until unlocked). The issue is I’m stuck on the second girl because I have no clue how to get CPR to work! :,)

I may make a post detailing the things I do know about the game, though. There’s actually a setting in the options to choose how irregular/skippy the girl’s heart will be, which I really like! There’s also an “x-ray” button to see their heart inside their chest.

Each girl’s heart is different. They very in shape, sound, speed, irregularity/steadiness, and durability. They all have some type of quirk, too. The quirk of Rumoru, the character in this video, is a very visible heartbeat that becomes increasingly more visible the faster it beats.

There’s also a secret character whose heart can be grabbed with your hand and squeezed. You can also resuscitate her by massaging her heart with your hand. I don’t know how to unlock her, either. 

School is out and you know what that means!!! Yes, it means that us grad students stop getting paid because they think we don’t have rent to pay or food to buy over the summer or something. Note: This is my first time making a resus gif! Hopefully I can improve with future ones. ^-^ I wanted to make a gif of his heart fibrillating to accompany this, along with an AED gif of his heart being shocked back into rhythm, but I got a bit bored drawing. Maybe some other time.

I also quite like the idea of salt water causing the blood to thicken. The heart is already struggling from the lack of oxygen. Then the blood begins to thicken, straining it until it gives out completely. o///o (Maybe I could do something with this. lol)

Today, I was going to go back, after almost 50 days after I left him (for like the 10th time), I searched his username on Tumblr and found this. I can’t believe it. He got caught, and I almost went back.

He told me he’d “date no other but me”. Although I know how disgusting that is, it feels like I’ve been cheated on. What made me the most shocked was the fact that he managed to make me feel so special. Like I was the only one. But that wasn’t the case. I honestly thought he genuinely loved me. I imagined us meeting, him proposing, getting married, having children and having a happy life together. I was 14.
