I am writing to request the Representative:

- Immediately end the military, civilian, and financial alliances between the United States and Israel because of the Genocide they are perpetrating in Gaza.

- Immediately use the resources of their office to investigate the murders of civilians in Gaza by soldiers of the IDF and settlers - many of whom are dual citizens of the United States, who need to be held accountable to uphold the rule of law.

- Provide, with international oversight, aid and liberation for the Palestinian people.

- Investigate the murders of journalists at the hands of the IDF because this suppression of the news of what was happening in Palestinian territory enabled and ensured that this genocide could continue on for so long without widespread US civilian knowledge.

- Support the ICC subpoenas, indictments, and arrest warrants. Extradite any citizens to the ICC for trial any responsible parties. Please ensure that these criminals who perpetrated these horrific actions are held accountable in a court of law with international oversight.

- Introduce legislation to protect freedom of speech by regulating corporate censorship on social media platforms, in the cases of “shadow banning,” deleting accounts, censuring users, and algorithmic bias against marginalized groups. The people should be able to discuss the real news of the day in the semi-public forum of social media platforms. These tactics are protecting the criminals perpetrating horrific international crimes which can only continue in the shadow of ignorance.

Thank you very much for your consideration and support for the wellbeing and protection of people everywhere, especially the Palestinians who have suffered without adequate aid for far too long.

My favorite is Stromanthe sanguinea “Triostar”.

Below, is a gorgeous photo of the artist’s growing setup with three prominent plants featured near the front: The leftmost is a pothos barely hanging on for dear life.

The center is a lemon-lime maranta who isn’t quite sure that he likes the blaring UV growing lights purple magenta directly above it.

The rightmost plant is an equally magenta-colored plant with feather-shaped leaves, whose true beauty is obscured by the color of the grow lights. Barely visible in the back right as a Pearls ‘n’ Joy Pothos that grows as slow as can be. In the back left is the strange sensitive plant I’ve been keeping alive since last year even though he’s leggy as all getout and has a little catnip plant and moss growing in his pot.

Unpictured, two propagations, one a Philodendron “Rio” and the other Golden Pothos.

Bonus points if you spot the frog toy hanging on for dear life somewhere in the image. He came with this jungle pot I found on the side of the road from a kid named “Ka in ‘98.” It’s written on the bottom. The red plastic bowl it’s in is because the plant within it is greedy with water and generally needs a bit more than can go through the pot the way I water it. The Sensitive Plant, too. It wants things swampy up in there.]

So yeah, there’s my sales pitch.
