I may not be the best at sewing (yet!) but learning takes practice and effort and the simple joy of being able to look back at pictures of Chloe one day and tell her kids how I made all of her clothes and birthday decorations by myself and all of that kind of stuff just makes my heart so happy. sure, I could buy all the tutus and bows in the world but there's something about that pride and sense of accomplishment when the little babe that you carried for over 9 months, and essentially "made", is wearing things you made just for her. ☺️💕 . a year ago today I found out that I was pregnant with our little baby ghoul. it was a bittersweet time for me since my grandfather had just passed a week prior, almost down to the minute. my pregnancy was high risk but I found comfort in everyday reminders of him that helped me stay positive and hang tough, even through all of the horrible morning sickness. 👼🏼 . now that Chloe is here with us, I sometimes feel as though I see a little bit of him in her from time to time and that makes my love for her even greater. I constantly find myself just staring at Chloe... it doesn't matter what she's doing, or if she's doing anything at all!
