It's December, so I finally did the chart. BrandRep in 2024.
Yes, I know, many don't trust the brandrep. However, if it continues to be done for so many years, it is in use. Think of it as the buzz around the name in a few weeks prior to collecting of the data (both negative and positive mentions), visibility. And the jumps from month to month also make sense, considering various categories are combined. For example, Do's "community" (socmed I guess) stays the same (400-500k), while media varies a lot.
Here are metrics for May, when Doyoung hit 3d place.

Number of streams of k-pop artist in 2024 on YT, SK only.
Newer groups have advantage as they are in trend, their fans stream their songs for music shows and charts, plus the fans of older groups may listen to mp3 or CDs bought way before instead of online. Thus it's even more impressive when old gen artists are in demand on YT.
This list also shows the difference in popularity in SK versus international. Ateez and SKZ are much less popiular at home than it appears globally. Before we talked about how it is benefitial to be popular abroad and at home, try to target both parties.
Day6 is really a phenomenon, huh? 1st place 462 million streams. Maybe 127 also has a chance to jump this way and peak again in the future, afterall, heh.

BlockB, Beast, G.O.D are old groups, and still remembered and listened to.
Lee Changseop is a BTOB member, he played Fersen same year as Doyoung (the guy who asked Do's fans to pass hello to Doyoungie, when he was leaving a music show place in a car). I didn't know he is such a popular soloist.
It's really suspicious how big TWS became in half a year. SKZ (from JYP, not a small company) and 17 took years to achieve this attention. Are they promoted as 17's little brothers, so 17's fandom supports them the way BTS's fans did for TXT?
Out of k-pop groups 127 is the 10th most listened to.
BTOB is known for their vocals. Debuted in 2012, so a 14 y.o. group. They had a hit when one of the members left due to a scandal. They even went to Kingdom show to remind the public about themselves.
Despite the 13th place, they do not sell well. Afterall, streams and financial stability are not correlated. Physical albums, concerts and merch bring money, not digitals. Therefore, be careful with such lists and conclusions based on them. It's only one piece of a puzzle.
Another example, Lee Changsub is much higher than Doyoung, but look at his sales. Likewise, Zerobaseone isn't popular with gp at all, but their albums surpass 1mln.
Ok, ladies next.

Never heard about a couple of ggs here.
Taeyeon alone is more popular than BTS or Seventeen, haha.
Ifans were not kidding saying that 4th gen was dominated by ggs, huh. NJ, Aespa, IVE, (G)-Idle and even LSF do have massive streaming power in SK. Doyoung needs to upgrade his game 10-fold to catch up to noona.
Stats for Doyoung after his solo album release. (songstats.com)
Followers on Spotify. Interestingly, not a big jump (there is a small notch in April). His OSTs alone were successfully accumulating him new subscribers.
Monthly listeners on Spotify. There is a big drop after the solo release (people stopped streaming +the song is not in k-pop playlists anymore), however, the popularity stays high (the upper line). The number of people who use Spotify to listen to music and who added Doyoung to the roster increased (the bottom line stayed even 2021-2024, always below 500k, but now it's still above 650k in October)
TikTok. As I understand, the number of videos using his tracks? A noticeable jump after the solo release.
Not sure what videos are counted, everything from the music category with his name in the tags? Anyway, he got a big jump.
Subscribers to the name tag on YT music? Whatever it is, again, a big jump.

The news about Doyoung and his friend Jeonghan of Seventeen landing as most searched members of boy groups (one week, September 23-28, 2024) is making round on X. Here is the original article.
This Rankify seems to assess search activities. Do is interesting to all age groups (bottom web) and he has more males (blue). His graphs are on the right.
"According to Rankify's big data analysis, 3rd place for boy group individual trends was RISE's Wonbin, 4th place was BTS's Jimin, 5th place was NCT's Jaehyun, 6th place was BTS's Jin, 7th place was RISE's Sohee, 8th place was SHINee's Key, 9th place was RISE's Sungchan, and 10th place was NCT's Taeil."
Yokshi, Woojae is not far away from his bae. Key makes sense he has released an album. Taeil is in the trends in September? So knetizens do pay his case attention, hm. It's still didn't affect JaeDo though.
Riise had so many scandals, Sohee was called ugly and poor, Jaehyun and his covid case, Doyoung and people unfollowing him after the McDonalds ad. And look at them now...
