Good on Joy for making this documentary, I may check it out. It's about Africville which is/was Halifax's black community that was absolutely devastated in the explosion of 1917. Their community was completely leveled while the rich up on the hill suffered only minor structural damages if that.

Ah… not really that much, to be honest. From what I could find, most of the official stuff seems to be about the two skele-bros—almost nothing on the other characters. So I pretty much have to make up everything myself (though most of my energy already goes to the skele-bros anyway).

That said, I have thought a bit about the royal couple in US. I feel like US Toriel isn't as gentle or indecisive as UT Asgore—she looks really stern. It probably takes a lot more effort to reach the softer side of her heart.

As for Asgore… I feel like he doesn't even have the same kind of resolve as UT Toriel. He seems like a much softer and more fragile guy. I think he'd actually cry when the kid decides to leave the Ruins. And in my mind, the fallout between the royal couple probably has a lot to do with their personalities.

But where’s the Swap Papyrus that get over excited about his favorite things? Or who hypes himself all the time (even if its mostly a joke)?

He’s not a neat freak about cleaning most of the time, but won’t put anything on the floor. Dirty clothes? On a chair. Everything else? Any possible flat surface that isn’t the floor. Having to step over stuff annoys him like crazy

He happily does laundry himself, but piles it fresh out of the dryer onto the end of the bed instead of folding it. Every once in a while he’ll pull out all the stops and clean the bathroom just because his brother never does it.

Swap Papyrus probably won’t go on a run without a damn good reason, but he’d be all over the Underground to set up a surprise party for a friend’s birthday without even breaking a sweat. He doesn’t even realize how much he’s been moving. But if he tried to actually work out, he’d psych himself out and be a sweaty, uncomfortable mess.

He wants to see good in people, even if it doesn’t always come naturally, he’ll put a good effort in. He’ll try. A new friend is worth the work! Even if he’s a little anxious and introverted, he’s a people person at heart
