Ya know what makes for good gt stuff that just straight up doesn't get explored enough. What if two characters were at the size differential of your choice, but were otherwise colleagues with a mutually respectful relationship who decide, after thematically and narratively satisfying characters arcs to pursue a romantic relationship regardless of the various hurdles their massive size difference might introduce to such a relationship. We need more characters in the same stage of life deciding to shack up, but one half of the relationship is palm sized.
Like, gt, but mundane. Slice of life, so to speak. Domestic renting an apartment togetherslop. The absurd premise of 6 feet and 6 inches played entirely straight without any looking at the camera and going "ah but you see that one of them is very large."

I haven’t like properly studied but I have a friend who’s pretty into it. one thing I find interesting is like the fluid relationship between taking inspiration from actual mech shows and the tropes that become canonized within the kink and the way those aren’t really differentiated. like I’ve def seen posts that have made me go “I don’t think that ever happens in mech shows??” and it was fully a community kink trope being referenced. which is interesting bc it got established very fast.
