I love the canon quantum superposition the doctor exists in at all times. a character that has at least five different origins, is married, is asexual, has children, a planet that exists and doesn’t, has a human mother, came out of a loom, is from another dimension, stories that have happened multiple ways in different mediums. and it’s not “time travel retconned that previous story” or “that happened in a different timeline” all these things happened together overlapping in imperfect and conflicting ways and yet it all works

“Stand aside before I shoot myself” well doctor most people start with like a hello or something

The Doctor’s companions in the early years tended to be “my beloved surrogate granddaughter” and “guy I found in a dumpster.”

New headcanon that Seven climbed over that cliff in Dragonfire because at this point he's so used to being in some sort of cinematic mortal danger every 20 minutes that if such a situation isn't readily available, he's been conditioned to seek it out himself. And his subconscious has to be a smartass about it by making it a literal cliff-hanger.

My thing with doctor who canon is that ‘not in the show’ ≠ not canon and even ‘contradictory to the show’ ≠ not canon, because the show is not the start and end of canon

the doctor told me aliens keep killing his companions so I asked how many companions he has and he says he just goes to earth and gets a new companion afterwards so i said it sounds like he's just feeding his companions to aliens and then he started crying

i love when characters are just autistic and it’s not a plot device like the autism is just there
