OR Tim has made a mistake, he fell asleep and missed his parents leaving the gala and now Bruce Wayne - otherwise known as freaking Batman - thinks he's being abused. Not wanting to cause any more trouble, Tim agrees to stay at Wayne Manor until his parents get back so that Tim can prove they are good parents. They're not abusive, or neglectful or anything! But the longer Tim stays at Wayne Manor, the harder it gets to pretend to be normal. But he can't let himself be a bother, or the Waynes might just abandon him too.
