What IS love shore?

A brand new project for a sci-fi visual novel, with gorgeous art focusing on atmospheric neons, and honest writing made for lgbt players.

what is it about?

Here’s a direct excerpt from the kickstarter:

“Welcome to Love Shore, a city that transforms at night. The futuristic metropolis also just happens to also be populated with cyborgs, old gods hidden in the depths of a criminal underground, and humans eager to crawl their way to the top, no matter what the cost.

After a fertility crisis changed the landscape of the city for good, a single company stepped in to help the residents: Life S. Incorporated, a biotech firm that claimed to be able to build life out of raw DNA, creating a fully formed human with thoughts, feelings, and morality of their own.

Their minds, physical appearance, and personality would be drawn from their parents’ DNA, but the children would be ‘born’ using artificial bodies. This new generation would be called the S.Humans: a non-aging, tough form of new life.

Love Shore is a visual novel game that takes concepts we’ve always loved in sci-fi, action, and horror and blends them together to create something wild. It features a queer, diverse cast, a seemingly endless city, and a story of coming into yourself and doing what you think is right…with a heavy dose of drama and violence mixed in for good measure.”

Who are the characters? who do i play as?

Love Shore features two playable protagonists with four romanceable options, each with their own storylines. The cast is entirely LGBT+. The game’s projected features will include 12 chapters, 24 possible endings, 60 CGs, 25 unique locations, and an original soundtrack.

Follow one of two protagonists, Farah or Sam, as you investigate the city’s criminal underbelly, and help your companions on their quests for redemption, love, and power.Love Shore has a cast of vastly different individuals, from S.Humans to Gods. Each person is unique in their motivations and in the way they interact with the world, and with you. Be careful to choose your friends and lovers wisely.

Love Shore is currently running an all or nothing kickstarter campaign, aiming to finish the game by early 2021 with crowdfunded support.  Son M. and Emmett are the co-writers of Love Shore. First day of life up until 6th grade 

Jumped all the way to Freshman year of High School

Then I cut my hair Junior year, why did I do that

Slowly it started growing back and then….

I finally felt comfortable to express myself (the picture on the left was my debut)

At this point in my transition I am 6 months into HRT

A year on HRT

2 years since my coming out 

2 years on hrt

2.3 years on hrt

At this point I am 3 years into my Hormone Replacement Therapy. I’m thriving. 

These pictures were taken days apart and I am 3 and a half years into my medical transition (The picture on the right was also posted by Instagram on all their major social media handles attached with an interview I did with them for International Women’s Month)

During this time I was 4 years into HRT. Clearly living for it.

having blue eyes is a genetic disorder. having blonde hair is a genetic disorder. having attached earlobes is a genetic disorder. having small lips is a genetic disorder. every bit and piece of you is a genetic disorder. thats why different eye colors and hair colors and races and heights fucking exist. your genes fucked up and made something it wasnt supposed to when the first humans on earth created offspring. every single person on this planet is a genetic disorder. 

intersex people arent a fucking dented can of food you can just call ‘defective’

It encourages (scared or ignorant) parents into forcing their babies (babies!) into intensive irreversible (often sterilizing) surgeries to better fit the arbitrary sex binary. They call it “Gender Affirmation” surgeries like they’re fixing something wrong rather than fucking with the way people are born for aesthetics. Doctors have literally been quoting saying that they have operated on children because “boys should be able to stand to urinate”.
