With my understanding, this all started because you were triggered (not using the word sarcastically, do not worry) over a despacito joke with toddbot. The resulting posts, formatted to be call outs, were far out of hand regarding the context. Yes, you edited after the fact, but the harm was already done. Wether you realize it or not, you are being a bully. I hope we can continue this civilly. - bystander
Thank you for your response since I can see there has been a misunderstanding. It wasn’t the Despacito joke with ToddBot that triggered me. I was already in panic mode when that happened. It was the escalating aggression the ToddBot showed to responses. There was also members laughing after “outing it”. Yes it was in regards of it as a furry, but “outing” is one of my fears in general. Everything combined to overwhelm me and I fell into a panic attack. As soon as I was leaving the chats, it seemed the jokes were being vanilla again.
The problem was that Quinn did not want us to have morality questions on the @yourlgbtfriends server since it’s a safe place. I recognized the need to not fight that in front of everyone, but I still wanted an audience in case things went south, hence confronting first on the mod server. The disrespect in there and subsequent removal from being able to easily tell the truth to the people involved made me feel I had no choice but to go public.
I cannot apologize enough for the harm already done. At this point, yes I’m the one being a bully simply because I want people to know the truth of what happened (I do not mean to be facetious, if it comes off as such). These things happen when people are harmed. From where me and my found family are standing, this is not good for any of us. But I feel I must do what I must to clear up what happened as well as learn from this what I can. I am doing my best to be civil about it all, and I am grateful you are giving me the chance to do so.
