what does the orange tag stand for?

Not a joke: Yesterday, april 1st I turned off my phone hoping it will stay off for at least 14 days. (maybe I need to turn it on for the 2nd factor security thing to login to my school accounts, but that should be it). 14 days because that's mostly a time period of getting used to stuff but also because if I don't use whatsapp before those 14days, I will get logged out on the other devices and I do have groups I need to communicate with still.

What do you mean I need a smartphone in my pocket to access internet, social media and everything whenever I 'want': If I WANT all the things I need in one place I might as well create a custom cyberdeck and not get bullied and tracked by capitalism.

I wanna be able to say "I don't have a phone. I have a Raspberry Pi/ Cyberdeck".

what is this world. We are forced to eat toxic food from supermarkets, when we want to eat unprocessed foods it’s super hard or costs too much time. Time we don’t have because we have to work so much and the time left over we spend on our phones. Social media is how we stay connected (including chat+ apps like WhatsApp), so if we are not on those, it is way harder to keep up with friends and the world. Then on top of this, we think we need to buy something new or better, even if the thing we have isn’t broken and still totally works fine. Because well, there is always something that could be upgraded and this occupies our minds at least weekly. And the clothes we wear? I mean, you have or to fit in or to express yourself, when you buy something new that’s very cool of you and you’re so trendy. And even if you try to be a good person and buy secondhand, it’s at least 50% trash -like, not durable and a lot of shein stuff or fast fashion anyways. And to round this shitshow up, we share these beautiful lives of ours with the world online so we can all compare ourselves to eachother.

Woman are really magic, one day you can cry bc of everything, the next day you can conquer the world and then your body throws out your unused eggs

Another sign that the world is made by man standards… a woman can become depressive every month for a few days but she can’t take rest every time the world feels too much for her because the world doesn’t have space for a woman’s cycle🥺

Is psychical media back because we’re tired of digital media, or is it because we don’t feel like we own enough anymore and need the feeling of hopping on every trend possible and owning every form of something

The world is so fucked. We’re all addicted to our phones, living 1/4 of our lives online, friends are the people that follow us and are most active on social media platforms… Then you get so overwhelmed you want to be alone for a minute, but soon enough you feel lonely because you are used to being online all the time, so when it is quiet, it feels wrong. We all are told to choose one lover and live in a big house and create a family, while ideally we should live together with some of our besties and support each other in whatever we want to do in our lives. I hate how the structures of the world nowadays are shaped and I feel a stranger to it many times.
