As a socialist, I'm not actually the biggest fan of Marx or Marxism, but I do love how Marx and later Marxist thinkers, in discussing defining identity through consumption, perfectly predicted the exact kind of mindless "patriotic nationalist" who bases their entire personality around buying "anti-woke" products even if they suck ass.
