Normal Is Boring

So a question popped into my mind while playing Royalty & Legacy:

Who are the Capp children's parents?

Obviously Tybalt Capp is one of them...but who is the other parent?

Howdy! Do you like Pokémon? How about Pokémon fan games? Wanna donate to charity? How about watching me act like a weirdo? If it's yes to any or all of the above then do I got news for you! I'll be doing a 24hr (sorta) Charity Stream!

The stream will be split up into 3 days - 26th & 28th of June, and the 1st of July - and I'll be streaming from 12-8pm Irish Standard Time. What whill I be streaming you ask? Only the newest Pokémon fan game on the scene: Pokémon Nova! Set in Ultra Space, you play as a member of the Ultra Recon Squad with the goal of finding a way to restore light to your world while dealing with a…human Necrozma?

As for the charity, this stream will be part of an event called #GamersForSaoirse, where other streamers will be streaming in support of Saoirse; a charity dedicated to helping those who've gone through domestic abuse. Hi folks! Ready to meet the original characters you'll get to meet in Stardew When They Cry? And yes, I think that's the name I'm going to stick with. With that being said, let's get started!

Esther

Esther is the main protagonist. After working as an intern for Joja for about a year, Esther is already sick of the desk jockey life. After opening a letter left to her by her grandpa, she gains the deed to Silverstone Farm. With her things back and older sister Marcy in tow, Esther sets off for a new peaceful life in Stardew Valley. Esther is friendly, hardworking, a bit of a rebel, and can be stubborn when she sets her mind to something. She also can have a bit of an attitude when facing someone she dislikes. While she's quite brave, she also seems to have a deep fear of water.

Marcy

Marcia 'Marcy' Silverstone is Esther's older half sister. Her father and mother got divorced on amicable terms with her mother receiving custody before remarrying a few years later and having Esther. Marcy adores her little sis and can be very protective of her, but at the same time knows she can look after herself. Marcy is stronger than she looks and has no problem laying a smack-down on anyone who threatens her family. She has a crazy high spice tolerance and loves cooking. Marcy may seem tough and even scary at times but in reality, she is kind, friendly, and generous. When she heard that Esther wanted her to come live on the farm with her, Marcy jumped at the chance. Getting to live with her little sis while working with fresh food and cute animals? Sign her up!

Mirage

Mirage Vela is an odd young woman who has arrived in the valley not long after Esther & Marcy. She's the daughter of one of their grandpa's farmhands back in the day. After hearing that the farm was back up and running, wanted to help out like her father did. While she comes across as friendly and sweet, she can be a bit strange. She keeps to herself a lot and seems to be very interested in Stardew Valley and the myths surrounding it. But she seems to genuinely love the valley and Pelican Town, and wants nothing more than to help it thrive. Though she doesn't seem to like Joja very much...

Yosaf

While some worship Yoba as one being, few know that Yoba is actually two beings. Specifically two sisters. Yosafina - or Yosaf for short - is one of those sisters. Yosaf represents life and creation, guarding nature from those who threaten it and keeping it in balance. Yosaf is sweet, polite and kind but also very nervous and awkward at times. She is also very lonely as the only ones who can see her are the Junimos and her sister: Ina. That is, until Esther came along. Yosaf loves sweet things and reading. She sometimes peeks into Elliott's cabin to see what he's writing. She has a crush on him but knows that nothing will ever come of it with her being an invisible spirit. Yosaf also has access to a strange realm known as the Sea of Shards. But that's a story for another day...

Ina

Inaba - or Ina as she prefers to be called - is the other half of Yoba, representing death and destruction. She is also the younger sister of Yosaf. Hmm...I can't say too much about Ina without spoiling stuff so here's a fun fact about her design. Ina and Yosaf wear shrine maiden outfits with kimono-styled shirts. While Yosaf wears her in the traditional way - the left side folded over right - Ina has hers folded in the opposite way. This is because kimonos are only folded right over left when the wearer is deceased. A nice little nod to Ina being the deity of death.

And I think that's everyone! Who's your favourite of our five new additions to the valley? I can't wait to start writing the chapters as I'm nearly finished the planning stage. So stay tuned!

Hmm...I swear there's another character that wasn't in the valley before...but it's certainly not one of mine...huh...
