we can quibble over the precautions that can, and should, be taken to protect actors portraying sexual situations, and the lack thereof for much of the medium’s history, but you don’t get to dictate whether or not something should even exist just because it doesn’t appeal to you personally or it makes you uncomfortable to see a female presenting nippleTM on celluloid with your parents sitting right next to you. power up that brain of yours and either turn it off or keep watching and maybe you’ll learn something about the characters you’re spending all this time with based on how they act in incredibly intimate moments. the choice is yours and yours alone. but you cannot make my choice for me.

a few questions: what movies are you watching where the whole thing is one long graphic sex scene and therefore have to skip the whole thing? where can i find them? do you think the edited simulation of sex acts between two actors is the same as porn? why are you saying “boobies” at 31? how do you know if a sex scene “actually does anything for the media” if you don’t watch it?

As an artist, I hate to see all this puritan crap around the HUMAN BODY! and INTIMACY! and SEX! and everything that having a physical human body and human needs entails. Like it's bad or unholy.
