The staff at NFI Studios were kind enough to give us a private tour but please note this is not generally open to the public.

We saw costumes for possibly Marian, Guy, Robin and the gang (the rest are owned by Tiger Studios), the house set (Locksley/Knighton/Trip Inn - with a possible upstairs section we didn't see), the castle (with some changes made and sadly no grand staircase), the Great Hall (with a lower roof now) medieval market and streets, what looked like the bridge into Nottingham, and the gate/exterior wall to Nottingham (not shown here).

Philza et al, I’ve got no time for you.

That clip sucked. If you didn’t see it, don’t look it up. It’s not even interesting and it will put you in a shitty mood.

So you don’t have to bother: it’s just Sneegsnag (or whoever the F he is) repeating the labels people use for Wilbur and knocking the current stans and fans for supporting him. It’s derisive, insulting fans as stupidly claiming he was just misunderstood. Philza adds a little bit mostly just mmm-hmmms and affirms.

What’s my take?

First, I’m sick of people dismissing Wilbur fans as a bunch of insane bad-guy-worshipping idiots. On the whole, we’re here because we are accepting, inclusive people who think cancelling is bullshit. We saw shades of gray in this situation. Don’t mischaracterize our POV. In the words of Wilbur Soot, “you don’t know me.”

Second,

I LOATHE Philza.

I have no respect for people who would throw a friend in the garbage can.

From the beginning of this, the response of the other CCs was one of the things that baffled me the most. How can adult men have such limited understanding of the human condition? Oh right— because they’re two-dimensional block men.

Regardless of your stance on the allegations, whether you think he’s done the worst thing ever or you think it’s blown out of proportion, these things are true:

Every person is more than the worst they have done.

Good people can do crappy things.

No one is all good or all bad.

You can stand beside a friend without excusing bad behaviour.

You can stand up for a friend when he can’t stand up for himself.

A friend sees the goodness in you no matter what you’ve done. They accept you as a person inclusive of your faults and fuck-ups. Even when they’re disappointed or angry, they would throw you a lifeline if you were drowning. Your friend should always see you through the haze of your mistakes and know with certainty that you have value.
