Just as we have stories of queer men who go through trauma, pain, and suffering, don’t you think that we as queer women should be able to share our stories of hardship? Shouldn’t we all as queer people be able to show the reality of being queer?

Can’t we use storytelling abilities to show how we live, love, and experience things without needing to make sure it’s the most ‘clean’ portrayal? How far are we allowed to go before the audience starts to ‘get scared’ or find our portrayals ‘gross’?
