After having gone thru acct recovery a couple times early in the days of OneDrive, I got the vibe that saving ANYTHING to a propriatary service was a huge mistake, ESP anything MS. Nice to see that vibe continues to check out.

MS does not care how many years of your life you have backed up to their cloud- they can take it away/delete it for any reason at any time. Keep your stuff local on an external drive.

Backup your content somewhere that you control.

six months ago i learned about something called the “practice trap” in art, where beginners never start their art journey because they think theyre not good enough to make something they like, so have to practice more, but practice is boring, so they never get to make something fun and dont enjoy making art, so theyre even more discouraged from practicing and its a big death spiral. Anyways the solution is to pick up a long project of something you would enjoy like a 50 page comic or draw every gen 1 pokemon or whatever. so i chose something fun, and i even got excited to start- but guess what? guess fricking what??? Guess who thought she wasnt good enough for it yet?? Guess who wanted to practice more?? Guess who then didnt pick up her pen at all these six months?? can you freaking guess????

I bet Grace's ejection from earth would become like an Eridian horror story. They forced him to sleep. They held him down and made him go to sleep so he would stop fighting. They kept him vulnerable and put him into a dangerous situation with other sleeping, vulnerable humans with no one to watch over them.

And 2 of them DIED! While they were asleep with no one to watch over them!!

Like they probably already thought Rocky's journey was the stuff of nightmares (alone for decades with no one to watch him sleep) but Grace's story would probably be so terrifying to them. Coupled by the relative ease with which he talks of it. He accidentally mentions it to his class and gets several concerned and angry messages from Eridian parents about him telling horror stories to their children instead of teaching Human Science lol

Started with just the idea of Grace laying on Rocky’s ball while they talk about their love lives and now it’s almost 4am and I have drawn a shirtless Simon and now rocky preforming a sensual interpretive dance… this is getting away from me.
