i was just remembering in middle and highschool when if you had a pack of gum everyone wanted some. especially your bullies. then if you didn't give it to them (because why would you theyre assholes?)they'd do the oh you dont like me? youre hurting my feeeelings routine,but most often they'd just tattle. also my highschool literally sold gum in their vending machines and yet it wasnt allowed to be chewed in class??? that was so weird anyway i have lots of gum rn and i am reaching through the screen to either give you a piece of bubble yum or a stick of juicy fruit.

Eddie stares at Steve who is laughing across the yard with Robin and Dustin. Takes in Steve's new glasses,his now shoulder length hair, and the slight sunburn across his nose and cheeks (and the extra smattering of freckles it brings). Steve notices him staring and does a huge, goofy, exaggerated wave his way. Eddie sticks his tongue out at him a bit (chuckles at Steve's feigned indignant squawk) and waves back, thinking to himself "I could easily spend the rest of my life with him."
